I had an email from a man who seemed to be a very nice man on this site. Professed to be widowed, straight, a gentleman who was looking for a real lady.
For some reason I googled him and found that he is on numerous gay sites looking for other men for casual sex, belongs to numerous swinger's clubs and is either married, divorced, separated or widowed, depending on which site you go to.
Now, this is horrifying to me. Maybe I am old fashioned, but I think that a woman should be told a man's sexuality and given a choice as to whether she dates him or not accordingly. I have an aversion to dating a man who has sex with other men, some women don't. It is bad enough to lie about their marital status.
The worst thing is that I have found from counseling with bisexual men is that they tend to be very promiscuous as a group and will even have sex with strange men in a bathroom. I think it is very unfair to bring a woman into thier lives who hasn't even an inkling of their sexual proclivities, or habits. I should add bi curious men to this group as well.
Any thoughts on this?

Aww look at Pete he is straight as an arrow...Bev you got it out for Bi men huh? I'm sure you have your personal reasons...just my opinion but I truley believe there are some woman that can turn men gay

No, I have friends that are bisexual men, very good friends, but there is no defense of someone who lies about it.
The ones who are out generally are open and honest about what they do and far less promsicuous.

Lol, gee, I do, even have a tg that calls me her sister. I have a good friend in Texas that is very bi. I have nothing against them, they are friends, I would not date them, nor do I appreciate being lied to.
I counsel with many who are gay or bi or curious, I don't date them, but I like them as people.
Is okay, indigo, I hope he emails you and you go out with him, lol. Maybe his wife won't know or care, maybe he will meet him a future boyfriend while you are out with him.
Now, can I cough, or maybe clear my throat?

Um, Bev...if someone belongs to Adult Friend Finder, they are listed as links on ALL sorts of related sites. I only know this because I googled your name (as well as the POF one) a long time ago (I was looking for credentials  ) Anyway, you were listed by google under Passion.com, some BDSM sites and all kinds of lesbian and other "adult" sites. I was in stitches
Actually, I assumed you were doing some sort of sexual-orientation research or something like spreading the gospel on those sites  ...then another member here googled her own name and found the same links attached to her screen name -- we had a great giggle and learned about how some sites are rather liberal with their affiliates and a person's screen name and profile.
So before assuming, you might check to see if he REALLY has profiles on those sites and if it's really HIM or someone with the same screen name.

Sunny, and do they say, bi guy looking for fun with gay men? You should access those sites, you will find that my profile says almost exactly the same thing everywhere, if it is me.
I accessed the sites, read the ads, his location. I am not a fool, I know all that you are talking about, gee, sun. I even googled myself last night and accessed those sites, nothing there. You will do good to find even a forum post on there, but seeing, like I said, that I really do some counseling, perhaps you might, but, then, it would be an offspring from another site, like you said, These were NO OFFSPRINGS, lol, I guarantee you that one.
So sun, you just go on believing that, maybe he will write to YOU. One one site, he is bi looking for gay men, says he is married, on another he loves being with men, wants to play, and is separated, and on another he is divorced. Lol, now he is widowed and straight.
Maybe YOU better go research. That makes you maybe naive??
