I don't see any reason to change anyone to be honest. A person is who they always will be. You either except or move on. If you try to change them they will end up hating you in the long run for it. So I try to make as close a connection as I can then the rest will fall into place.

As far as the too good to be to be true thing. I can understand why she would be apprehensive because usually if it seems to good to be true.....it is.
At the same time, you can't let those apprehensions get in the way. I would play it cool until I saw a reason to be worried.
You wouldn't want to run off your prince charming based on preconceived notions some toad gave you

As far as the too good to be to be true thing. I can understand why she would be apprehensive because usually if it seems to good to be true.....it is.

I agree. If you have to make changes for one another instead of just accepting differences, the relationship is more than likely going to fail, or even worse, become a divorce. At best, it will become a velvet prison. I am so surprised that so many people cannot look around and see the data on this for themselves. It is evident all over our society.

I think it's important to accept someone as they are but I think that if there are unhealthy habits they have that could damage them in the long run you have every right to discourage that behaviour...
