Sure, EVERYONE wants BOTH (love and sex) , but it's obvious that women get more satisfaction from love , while guys' priority is sex . Which is perfectly natural, btw. - that's exactly what makes men and women a perfect MATCH. I.e. they complete each other.( just as Burns put it ).
I guess it's about distinguishing WANTS and NEEDS. Guys WANT love, but they NEED sex. No guy would feel like something missing as long as he has lots of sex. Love is just a bonus - great if it happens, but he can live without it.
And from what I read on this forum , the situation is quite opposite when it comes to women . They , sure, WANT sex , but LOVE is what they NEED most. ( And , btw, I think it's great that they feel this way . Eventually people outlive their sexual abilities-and some didn't have any to start with- , but love is forever)

p.s. Sunbabe, don't panic, no one implied you are lesbian . All I said was : gay men had no choice but call their sex partners "friends" when they were still hiding their orientation "in closets". What makes straight folks disguise their sex partners as "friends" is a mystery ( Probably it's just a "trend" , like baggy pants exposing buttcrack , which originated in correctional facilities as a sign that a person is available for anal sex - and now even 2nd graders seem to think it's "cool" to wear this kind of "attire" to school  )

Why are you making it seem like women live in a dream world....they want love and then sex....if I was to say that good sex is more important, then you would call me a whore.
Yes, men think about sex first....but they also guard their hearts more than woman...we all want romance and the sex comes from our feelings.
You are making everyone look so steriotypical on here.
You have yet to make a statement based on what you believe....you are tearing other people down for being honest.
These people are being honest, and you are making fun...my guess is that you are a very lonely man

Southern, I've heard the same thing.
I've also heard the saying that a man is what he does and a woman is what she looks like. Which I don't agree with, but I think it exists in our society?

Well..as you see, my study confirms this rule .  Though,there's always exception. Not sure if any guy would ever look for love with no sex, but I've met a couple of females willing to provide free non-emotional sex
