Ok this thread is created to explain why women are attracted to "the bad guy type".
Although there are many nice guy threads in these forums, I think that we should give a space here to talk about the other side of the coin.
The reality is that a good percentage of women here are attracted to the daring bad guy types.
So what is a bad guy vs. what is a nice guy? What gets certain women hot and attracted to the bad guy tpes..... Actions? Confidence? Energy? Creativity? The ability to make spontaneous decisions? Taking and staying in control of situations? Dominance traits demonstration? Going against the boring "Norm"?
What do you personally have to say about this?
I would like all of you readers to give your impressions about this type of attraction.
How would you build the perfect jerk if you had the chance, what should be his attributes?

I've never gone after a jerk. What usually happens is that the guy you thought was a nice guy turns into a jerk after you've been together for a long time. Marriage seems to bring out the confidence a guy needs to fully become perfect jerks. As long as you can walk away easily, the jerk stays under wraps or only appears briefly once in a while. These brief appearance are explained away and apologized for profusely until you almost forget you ever saw him. I don't know of any woman who wants to be with a jerk, however there are many women who end up with them. It's probably because there are so many of them around and they're usually hidden under the most charming exteriors. Probably a lot like the bitches men sometimes end up with.

It's because many women have self esteem issues, and they believe that they only deserve to be with some scumbag, that they aren't good enough for any normal dude.

Why do these attributes equate with a "bad boy"? They certainly don't in my opinion, but rather with a confident, assertive, courageous, positive guy, and yes, those qualities are very attractive.
Qualities that denote a "bad guy" in my mind, are things like treating others with a distinct lack of respect and courtesy; repeatedly disobeying rules and the law; abuse of any kind, including self, indulging in drugs regularly, or excessive drinking and acting like an idiot.
If that's a jerk, why would I want to build one?

I don't think the things the OP said...."confidence, energy, creativity, spontaneous, and being in control" are "bad" boy traits.......I like those traits in a nice guy... 
Now if we have to "build" a jerk.....Let's do this...
Is always high or drunk
Treats you disrespectfully in or out of public
Spends all your money and never has any of his own
Can't keep a job
Constantly flirts with other women while you are together
Always smacking on you
Always smacking on the children
Sits in front of the TV screaming....."where's dinner!!"

Hmm, I think EF or someone started a thread on that a while back, Blu. It's a good idea to help weed out who may be a problem
Also Angel52414(?) started a being on the lookout tower so people could help others about odd/abusive/liar/cheater people that we "meet" here.

Pretty disgusting.
You should out him, so his next potentials girlfriend know what he is about.
Sexual talk between to consenting adults is one thing, and very different than unsolicited rude remarks from someone you are not intimate with.
