So I was wondering, how long can you wait before you get intimate with someone you either just met, or have started dating?
Same day, or within a month? Or sometimes both?

When I was younger...two hours was about right. 
Nowadays, I like to wait as long as humanly possible. I like the tension to build and, you only get one first time with someone...so I like to make it count.

yeah but if your both extremely drunk there is a good chance you won't remember so if you hook up again its like the first time all over again

That's a good point. Sometimes if your really drunk you won't remember  , or do it too quickly in the relationship. I did that when I was younger. Ended up dating the guy for a year, but still, I regretted it.
...I think only ankles should be shown when you are single. Then when engaged you can hold hands. Then after 5-10 years of being married and knowing each other semi-well you can do IT
At least that's what my mom told me

This question has been posted many times, and my answer is always the same. When both of you feel the time is right, do it. That could be 15 min into your first date, or after you've been together a year. Only you and your partner know what feels right for you. To put sex on an artificial timeline is just game playing, and aren't we all mature enough to be past those games?
