My daughter sees a guy that is pretty beneath her in my opinion. At times she acts like she knows "what" he is too! What do these guys do for you ladies!?

What i have been told, its the oh dady and mommy dont like, that is enough to get them to sway that way.
Give suport and talk him up, watch how fast she drops him,. Its not her, its the teenager, and thier formal operational thinking.

And there it is. There are plenty of guys (men) who look and act like bad boys in public that are abolsute pussy cats in private.
Get to know him before you make any judgment. Good advice when meeting anyone actually.

aaaaaaaawwwwww we gals love a bad boy! If there's a mean spirited, cheating, violent, drug using, no job holding, leather wearing, body piercings in painful places, old harley (the kind that is put together by stolen parts) or truck driving (see earlier harley comment), mean mouthing, mother disrespecting, thieving, lieing, no bath taking, SOB there is a long line of gals waiting to love him enough to change him. 
I speak from personal experience. I'm usually the one these guys are chasing. 
It comes from watching Rebel with out a cause and soap operas.

Korean woman pulled out in front of us on the Tehachapi Pass, We were doing
70, and when she hit us we did multiple, airborne rollovers, turning our truck
into scrap metal.

NT, my daughter is in the same situation. He's the handsomest man, truly the type to make people stare when they're with him. I have to chalk it up to her being young, and chemistry. Because he is dumb as a box of rocks.
Younger women/girls aren't thinking about character and forever, b/c they haven't lived enough for these things to matter to them yet. You can't give them your experience. They have to gather their own.

I do like the bad boys, or at least they like me. I like someone who can stand their ground with me, and be an equal. Additionally, a bad boy is usually a hottie in bed. The bad ones that I've known are sweethearts inside, they just look naughty. Shadowhawke being a prime example of this....
