someone you shouldn't mess with? 
No kidding .
I haven't yet, but I want to. Really, really, really want to. Its a bad idea for a lot of reasons but I just can't get it off my mind. It's making me crazy.
I know its stupid.
I know its wrong.
I know you can't un-do it after the fact.
Seven months of trying to ignore, forget, its still making me crazy and I still want it.
I work a lot. I have little free time. I don't mess around. This is the first time I've wanted a person this bad. This sucks.
Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.

my serious answer. Stop looking at them and start looking at yourself.
take all the emotion all that bent up engery and refocus it in a different area of your life. Pick something, do it vigorously til its completed, then take that energy and focus it somewhere else. eventually youll find that you are no longer standing where you dont see is that old obsession anymore.

Try to keep your mind occupied and your body healthy. Obsessing will make you unable to cope if a personal tragidy should occur. You will not be able to count on that person for support at a time like this.
Personal experience 10 years ago taught me this
