as you have canceled...and..it seems that you only wanted to vent.. so.. I will just ramble here a bit.. 
Being played is in the eyes of the person that was played by the player.. the drawback of the internet is that there are no set rules..and everyone thinks that their rules are the right ones.. What is obvious though..is that you felt strongly enough about it to post a thread and then cancel..
...but in canceling..without giving a basic description of the circumstances, it is almost impossible to carry on a dialogue that pertains to your situation...
..In general, there are many people here that laugh, joke. around.and have fun all the while they are looking for a connection..Are they players?? not in my book...
my thoughts are..it is not easy to find that special someone..and everybody has to come in contact with some frogs while looking...but the key is to have fun while doing it..and try to not hurt others in the process...
and it has been said many times..communication is the key to circumventing misunderstandings.. but if a player is playing you...all you can do is to go with your your gut feelings...

There is NOTHING sexy about it. And I would like to clarify that being played IS being used.
I do believe there are different types of players. But anyone who pretends to be something they are not....they are a player.
What could be attractive about that?

sweetheart, we each have a mindset of what we seek. players know this. they read your profile to start with. and then, a few unique questions just for you, the game is on. your ferocity is acknowledged but, perhaps you might take a 2X4 up against the head of some of these gals! flags dammit! why do you ignore the red flags! its a red flag! don't go saying "well, maybe it isn't" its a freaking red flag!!!!

If being played, makes you feel sexy or attractive, then you have some serious issues with your self worth. If you are pretending to feel more sexy or attractive, because you have been played, then you have issues with maturity. In the first case (if it makes you feel sexy or attractive), seek professional health. In the second (you are pretending), grow up.
Either way, it is not something positive.

I think I'm getting played right now. This gal that hangs out at Lucky's is always flirting with me and asking me to buy her drinks. I must have bought her like 20 long necks over the past week. So saturday night I asked her to come out to my truck in the parking lot and give me some head. She acted like she was all insulted, but I know like three other dudes that have screwed her, so I know that was just an act. I think she's playing me for free brews.
