Monkeyshines and tom-foolery seems pretty mild and innocuous as compared to the type of person and cruelty I was speaking of. Not sure it really relates. One is silliness, the other is abuse and cruel and inhumane behaviour. Silliness and abuse is like apples compared to horse droppings. They are shaped similarly but are an entire intestine and etc apart.

Well put, pam!  A lady is only having sex with the one who makes her feel loved , prostitute will do it for some cash, and whore - free of charge. Providing sexual favors to the abuser would be the most whorish behavior possible ( in fact, it's a medical condition called "mazohism" , a perversion. Such person belongs in mental institution . Normal , mentally healthy guy hardly would consider taking advantage of sick person ) . Expecting/demanding sexual favors from the person one dosn't love makes no sense . For those who are into casual/no-love sex , there's sex-service providers both on- and off- line.

I believe those are things which are happening BETWEEN man and woman. ( that's a straight forum , right?  )
My point is - there's no such thing as "withholding sex". If the guy failed to keep his partner sexually attracted to him, it's his problem, not her "fault". Most likely he has been "withholding affection" to the point when there's no "fuel" left to ignite woman's sexuality anymore. In the other words : just like woman who doesn't bother to LOOK SEXY shouldn't complain about guys not flocking to her , a guy who doesn't bother to ACT SEXY cannot possibly expect women to be sexually attracted to him. Guys are "visual" , that's something we all heard , but it helps to remember what makes women "tick" - i.e. female sexual arousal is a natural response to male's display of affection ( in private as well as in public). So - the guy WITHHOLDING AFFECTION results in no sexual desire in woman, there's no way around it.
( I mean - other than rape or prostitution, i.e. sexual activities where no sexual atraction is expected ...or masturbation for this matter . Oh, and the other option would be - bitching on the forums about women not wanting to have sex with you.  )

I dont............but just meaning that its mainly a woman thing that women like to feel *loved* then the good sex will follow.
Many men complain about their ...partners or spouses.....never being in the mood for sex.....and many times.........hardly ever. And they always tend to blame the woman. But I believe that those women dont feel loved. Their partners dont make them feel loved. They might *tell* them they love them........but the wives are not *feeling* loved. When a woman feels the love coming from the partner.......then she can unfold and give good sex in return.. But if there is no feeling there.......of course it turns the woman off. That is all I was meaning.

I'm going to look at this from a different angle if that's ok. When I was in a LTR with my ex b/f, there were times I was really tired and wanted nothing but to kiss and cuddle, then go to sleep. When that happened, he accused me of withholding sex and trying to "punish" him. I really think there are times when you just don't feel like having sex as much as you just want to be near someone you care about. How do others feel about this?

I have been disgusted , and refused to hae sex due to his actions ... I have been totally totally appauled by a man to the point that I could not allow him to touch me .... but I have never just held out .... its action vs reaction

I tried to withhold sex one time, and the woman sued me on the grounds that it was cruel and unusual punishment.
The judge ruled in her favor because I was such a good f*cker.
