Holy crap SpiritEnergy..Sadly I have to wonder how much of your post is true? That sure paints a really bad light on relationships and while I know it does exist, it's not something I've had in mine.
The sex is great..and its a huge part of being with someone.. Withholding is like cutting my nose off in spite of my face

OK being a guy if a woman says no it is not a biggie, I will take matters in hand 
NOW me withholding sex  , ok ok, I might have but then maybe i was upset or tired 
hmm, me thinks guys can take the NO much better than women (we have or I have had lots of practice  )...just a thought.

Cathy, great point! I have a friend always complains about him always wanting sex. Constant complaining anyway. Never has anything good to say seems like.
I wonder why it hasn't turned her husband off?  Maybe he likes complaining? She is one of the one's told me about him treating her like equipment after they married. When she gets in a big tirade I usually end up asking her why she doesn't divorce him. SUDDENLY, she says something good about the relationship. Geez.
So, any of you out there think complaining is sexy? I am just wondering if it turns some one on. Certainly does not do it for me. But I know there are many different people with wildly different tastes so just perhaps someone actually does get fired up over someone bitching and moaning.
I was amazed one time when a member here said she thought someone I thought was offensive was quite sexy to her. And I value and respect this lady very much. So, then it just seems possible for this complaining thing to be desireable to someone out there. Maybe that is why my friend's husband is so horny all the time? I may warn her about that.

I wonder about that too..
I suppose I'm naive in that I think if you're in a relationship you should be bragging about how great it is.. and wanting to be with that person, speaking highly of them..
you know.. all that postive yucky stuff..but what do I know?

I had a girlfriend withhold sex from me years ago but not in the traditional way. She was very passive aggressive so what she would do is dress down in the bedroom. She'd put her hair up in a bun and then wear full cotton pajamas and full panty briefs as to make herself unsexy. Then if I still wanted sex, she'd lie still and hold her noises as I grunted away on her. She knew that was basically kryptonite to my libido and made me feel like I was forcing an unwilling partner. She did it for any number of reasons that weren't always specified because she thought I should be able to figure out what I did. I'd rather she just told me "no". Just her way of punishing me.

I still dont understand the withholding sex...Its so much part of a relationship to be sexy with your sweetie.....If it comes down to that, its probably time to get help or end it.....So sad a relationship without sex.

Loreli is right on target! jeez! I wish it was her rather than my ex!  The ex would say "no" about 96% of the time, so that it was "choke the chicken" time with regard to sex  nothing worse than using sex to hold a person hostage emotionally!

It is hard as hell for me to hold back on sex period. I enjoy it to the fullest. A big part of a relationship is sex. Why keep something away from him that I want too? I say just hide his car keys instead.  lol j/k
