How depressing is that. 
I'm almost 50 and those are not my experiences to date.
All I can say is exercise and eat right and remain vibrant as long as possible.
My dad passed last month, but I remember a couple years ago his 3rd and current wife saying in a conversation that he is not happy unless he is having sex everyday, and he was 74 then.
Guys if we all could be that healthy at 74. 
My Dad lived to 76 and was a testament to the benefits of eating healthy and exercise, I think he would have lived a lot longer if he wasn't born with a heart murmur which necessitated a operation which he never made it through.
Now he is in heaven.
If you don't want the Op's post to be you, don't lay down and except it, fight it through diet and exercise.
