The friendships count as real, the conversation- -but romance, to me, involves holding, touching, kissing, loving in person.
It's a fantasy flight, that might be a journey worth taking, if you're realistic about the possibilities of meeting.

If it got to the point where it was agreed that we were actually in a realtionship, which I don't think would be realistic without a couple of meetings, I would consider it real.
