Not too long ago I had wrote an instant message to a woman asking her if she wanted to get together and have some fun, maybe watch a movie.
She responded "Have you been drinking?"
I thought..... wtf does that have to do with anything?
I was thinking that maybe she has lost confidence in herself and that maybe I do indeed need to be drunk to tolerate that kind of attitude.
Maybe I should have responded to her by saying ......... yeah I'm fvcking sh!tfaced high on crack, so now can we get together?
anyway...... what type of woman would respond with such a rude implication like this....
You have to have been drinking (maybe even drunk) if you were thinking of asking me out.?
Keep in mind that I rarely, almost never drink alcohol and never take drugs.

LOL.........maybe she had had a bad experience with someone in the past who HAD been drinking.....so her mind automatically turns to those situations......when hearing the FUN word.
I am the opposite.....I cant get a guy who wants to do fun things.....the ones I know.....are all old and dithery......and the word fun.....scares the living sh*t out of them. They just want to sit down watching the idiot box for hours......or sit discussing stuff. Well that is ok........but never anything else is not ok for me......
Some single guys who I know in real life.....I am sure if I had to ask them if they wanted to have some fun....go to a movie etc......they would think I had been drinking also. People are all different. Trying to work out how their mind works.....is as hard as finding a needle in that darn haystack....if not harder...LOL
I dont think you did ONE THING WRONG!

lol...well in her defense a lot of guys use the word fun to mean sex... yep that's what some call it and who knows maybe she had recently been inducted to that mentality and just became skittish upon hearing it.....

a lot of guys use the word fun to mean sex.
Believe it or not, a lot of women use the word "fun" to mean sex as well...only it's generally preceded by the word "real" and with added emphasis to that word. I've heard women say they want to go out and have some REAL fun...and what they really meant was they wanted to go find someone to have sex with, so it works both ways, unfortunately.
Kind of sad, really, that a word like "fun", that no one should be opposed to, triggers those kinds of defense mechanisms....

in this situation I would think it was an honest question that she wanted answered before she decided if she wanted to pursue the topic any further..
or it could have been her way of saying.. "are you on crack? ...what makes you think we are at the stage of actually meeting "

yeah, when I write IM's like that it normally means for sex and watching pornos. Although I'm sober when writing them, maybe I should doing it when drunk might come out better
