Why do men always say things that have absolutely nothing to do with what they mean?
(Example: I think you are very interesting, but.... )
{I am really starting to hate that particular but... damn it }
It is a known fact that when a man uses but in a sentance, he has free riegn to contradict himself.
eg. No dear, your bum doesn't look big in those jeans but... can you walk ten feet to the right, you're blocking the TV...
or
gee honey, those drapes look fantastic but..what are the farmers going to put thier potatoes in now?
or
Hey honey, you know I love your mum but... why does she always park her broom in my car space..

Broke up with someone.. sort of his choice (his mom's, and don't ask) so I am not in the best of moods tonight and facing a 12 shift at work for two days.  
Why when there are two rainbows are the colors backwards in one of them?
(A nice innocuous question)
