Not for me. If there is chemistry, kissing is foreplay. I do not kiss just anyone. I have to be mentally and emotionally attracted before I kiss. I will hug someone I don't know well or don't intend to get close to but I won't kiss. Not even if they are sexy looking. They have to get to me mentally and emotionally for the kiss.

Ouch, one of my dogs is too rambunctious and you may draw back a busted lip or get tongued.  Ewwww. The other dog and cat tend to leave floaty hair on me that gets my nose tickling. Hugs is better for them for me.

Kissing is what leads to the other part. If not a good kisser it is a turn off, kissin is a must.

Yah! After is nice. Passing out with no emotional support afterwards tends to feel empty sometimes. Touching hands is nice too. Just touching. Never felt anything better than that with one lover of mine. Makes me tear up just thinking about it.

The mouth is one of the nastiest (if not the nastiest) parts on the human body. Why not just take turns licking each others armpits, or rub your bungholes together? At least that would be a bit more sanitary.
