It's that time of year again! Time for bra shopping! I've been wearing a bra since I was 8 years old so the old over-the-shoulder-boulder-holder and I go way back! I was in Lane Bryant, picking up handfuls of bras hoping to find 4 perfect ones! In my rush to the dressing room I happened to grab up a couple of "plunge" bras. These are padded bras, each cup looking like a full size baseball cap connected with a 1/3 inch wide ribbon! As I adjusted the straps to try them on I spot little pockets on the insides. AIR BAGS were neatly tucked into each little pocket! GOOD LORD! I know, this is not news to most women. They know it simply as a "push up" bra. But, when you already live in DD land... why in the HELL would you want even BIGGER tits?!?! Of course, I wriggled into the thing and took a good, long look in the mirror. All I have to say is...WOW! Damn...my own boobs were turning me on!
I won't comment as to if that specific bra came home with me today but, has anyone else brought one home? What was the reaction to your new and improved bustline?

Supposed to give you a better full shape, but too much apparatus for me..And I like the way the foam-ish strapless ones look on the hanger, but same trouble.
Wacoal..Oprah's fav gives you a nice shape and they weigh less than my breasts. I'm always so proud of my boobies in those :) They are pretty. Hard to find though.
Fredericks of Hollywood is supposed to be better for fuller figures. I keep meaning to try those. Check out their site.
I love the Victoria Secret stuff, but they squish mine together, is that just me?

Perhaps that "plunge" bra in red and black lace for Valentines Day....

I have 2 of those bras and I took out the air bags. It is suppose to give support and cleavage without making them look like they are sagging. It makes pushes them togher..kinda Like I said I took the air bags out. I also am a D cup.

I'm only a B (feeling very inadequate right now ) but I tried one of those air-bag jobs and had the same problem as Greeni...my boobs kept popping out! It's awful, to have to keep putting the damn things back where there supposed to be every half-hour...

Don't mind him. They are getting ready to revoke his online privaleges at the home. Mommys birthday month is a very stressful time of year for him.
Air bags!!! Sorry, this IS news to me. I still thought they only came in cars! Er is this some type of protection?
All I can picture is hugging a guy and them "popping"!!

Danae, you're not alone here, sister.
I bought one of those accidently, came home and was like "what the heck"...I don't mind a little help, but it seems too much like false advertising.

Waiting & Soulless...they're just another permutation of the old half-falsies thing, supposed to "lift & define." Instead of gel or foam, they're filled with air.
I have a friend (we won't mention any names or genders) who uses halved Nerf footballs during performances.
***
Cyn, I know what you mean about the false advertising. I wonder what the guy's perspective on that issue would be...?

I bought a Wonderbra a few years back...water filled cleavage creator. FABULOUS!! Was going out with a bunch of friends, many of whom were females with an abundance of cleavage. It had always been a joke that I was a member of the "Itty Bitty Titty Club" (I'm AVERAGE, damnit. Just that the other girls were BIG).
It was still talked about a year later....
"Remember when Jennifer had cleavage!!!! Ahhhhh"

Nope...I'm looking right now...cleavage ain't happening here, not without some serious hydraulics. Mine just aren't meant to be together
I do have one bra, though, that gets them closer. It's actually just an old Vassarette brand from Target, I think. It has the foam "sideboards" and it works pretty well.
Can still see the ground between 'em, though...

Oh waiting...My mom was born in November and you're just bitter cause you don't have any tits to talk about on this thread so just like the rest of your life and educational background you have to make it up and pretend.

Danae....
From this man's perspective, I REALLY hate false advertising when it comes to this matter. I wanna know the truth, in this as well as all matters. I suspect this might be true for women as well.
This is not directed at you danae so don't take this queston wrong, but if the tables were turned, how yould you (or another woman) feel if a guy was to wear some "enhancing" undergarmet and when the moment of truth came about, you discovered there was false advertising? (That question is not meant to hijack this thread.)

No, no offense taken, ICQ. It wasn't a rhetorical question, lol; I really want to know. Yes, I'd feel extremely weird about your reversed scenario!
Of course, in defense of all we B cups, there's something there; a good bra is supposed to put what you have...how do I say this...front and center? And once you reach a certain age, things just don't sit like you want them to without encouragement

Yep, gravity takes its toll. And no, I'm not going braless in public anymore...been there, done that, remember the wet tee shirts. And for what it's worth, I don't usually wear the incredibly well-engineered ones normally (they are uncomfortable), just when the dress I'm wearing pretty much demands it (I like to dance...most of those dresses really DO demand appropriate support!).

Maybe you just need somebody to follow you around and hold them in place.
