Some of you must either have some really intense fights, or you're more interested in winning than getting along.
I hate when women use/withhold sex to win their argument or get their way.
I can see being upset and not being in the mood for a while, but this............ we are bound together till death do us part, and I'm, gonna make your life hell until then is a bunch of shit. But, don't you dare look else where, I just don't want you to have sex at all...............YEAH< see where that'll get ya?
Intense fights, yes. Arguments don't bother me at all but real fights are horrible and I turn off somewhat. I have to say, winning is not at all a goal so much as getting understanding, and being understood.
I have NEVER withheld sex to win an argument or to get my way, nor making someone's life hell UNLESS I am trying to run his ass off. And I have done that. You sound like you have had some real bitches, Blueyes, to have that kind of thought and the equally destructive beliefs that that is the way most women work. You picked em though.

I dated a woman who withheld sex, telling me it would make my Birthday so much more special...... Birthday came, still no sex, the relationship was basically over at that point. I went to her daughters wedding 20 years later, sat across from her and her husband, drinking his booze, and all I could think of........... was........ you poor bastard...... 
I have witnessed the withholding of sex far more than it has been applied to me, but either way, it can be destructive. And very uncomfortable when she makes it public, and then watch him cheat on her. I hate dysfunctional people.
When the they want it, they want it now, if the other person wants it, hmmmmmmm lets see what I can get for it.....  Sad, very, very sad.
And, just to add, some people just like to fight, it is all they know, if you don't fight with them, they can't tell if you love them. They must have conflict to feel anything...
Apparently things are just too boring when they are going smooth.

Some people are very volatile and passionate about their beliefs. I have found it IS safe to fight with some people. Some of us grew up loud and volatile. In my case, there was abuse so loudness was frightening. I am learning differently. After all, I am loud. I have someone that grew up loud but they were functional. So I am learning different ways of safely expressing myself.
