Hookers: What's a Fair Price?

Normally I stay out this area as I frequent the religion forum these days, but I've gotten some pretty interesting responses from this on other forums.

If you have moral problems with prostitution, or you feel that you're too macho to hire a hooker you might as well skip this thread. Yet, if you want some no strings attached nookie and you don't have an Fbuddy, what else are you gonna do, do the single's bar scene? Good luck. So what's a half hour or whole hour of lustful abandon worth? What do you expect for what you pay? Ladies, what do you think is a fair price for services rendered and why?

I've usually charged $150.00/hour, and the ladies have never complained about paying that kind of money ....

I have run into a lot of people that feel strange about meeting the opposite sex on a dating site[for the purpose of dating] because of the stigma attached.
Although for me, I had no problem meeting a women on line when i was single, i say stigma/smigma, and that mentality is so 20 years ago..
Now you realize I am just talking about dating not hooking.
And as much as a think a stigma against online dating is just silly, for me prostitution really does have a legitimate stigma attached, and it screams YOU ARE DESPERATE and I HAVE NO GAME.

ahem

Seriously... Not that I have ANY first hand knowledge ..

IMO: (adjusting reading glasses & trying to appear smart-like)

A man may hire a prostitute for some of his kinky/perverse desires.
Desires he may feel ashamed to share with his partner.
Or having shared his desires...
perhaps his partner said"NO!!!!"
or mocked him .

I know this doesn't address the $$$ question but
at least I said *prostitute* in my post.

Great points.

Or...a man just might want to have sex....with warm flesh.

Not a relationship. Not the discomforts that come with dating. Just a business agreement where she gets paid for her services much the same way a electrician gets paid. A nod and exchange of cash and he walks on into his very different life.

I think for some it's like driving along the road and seeing a Cracker Barrel sign. He thinks..."Shit I could go for a giant breakfast right now."

Pulls in.

Eats.

Pays his bill and hops back in his truck. Body satisfied and he doesn't think about Cracker Barrel again until he feels that urge.

Do I condone or agree with it? It doesn't matter...it has no baring on my life.

Just my thoughts...

Personally, I think if your doing it for a living you should charge a high price. At least 250.00 per half hour. Then again, if someone wants to get laid quick, they won't want to pay that much.

When I watch "Cops" I think they charge 20 bucks.

Ok i hear ya, but couldn't you achieve the same thing by going to your local bar and hooking up with a woman there for a one night stand?
I'm not judging others, but for me personally, if i was single and not looking for a relationship, that would be a better option.
The advantage of the one night stand is that it is mutual, and it is something you both want.
With a hooker, it is just a job and you are just a pay check, so this doesn't sound like basis for any chemistry between you two.
I'm mean how much fun could it be to have sex with someone that would probably just as well be not working.
But I guess if it's all about you you you, you would never notice.
