Hmm. Never went as far as the razor shave. When I was in the Army it was cut very short though. My first thought was, this is cool. I don't have to worry about coming it as much. Don't know maybe it is a lazy thing. I let it grow long from time to time. I had straight hair as a kid but when I hit puberty it curled up. When I go get a hair cut the lady cutting my hair jokes, Do you really want to cut those pretty curls off?

The shaved bald head or the head with very little hair is because most of this hair is rubbed off from the bedpost or the wall behind the bed.
This type of man is using his head and not all the so called muscles in the body.
This is the type of man you should look for since most men with a real MACHO status have either very little hair, shaved hair on the top of their head or no hair at all. These are the desirable men since they do not need the hair to hold the heat in their head..;

I had an ephipany as to a theory about men that shave their heads bald.
Not much of an epiphany I must say and your whole theory is ridiculous.
And you afs54321, it's ideas like yours that caused me to stop reading Psychology Today Magazine over 15 years ago.

Well I find it sexy when a guy purposely shaves his head but for some reason if he goes bald naturally it's gross to me, I dunno why....as far as other body areas, no hair no hair no hair no hair...did I mention no hair????

With all due respect, OP, come on! You're wondering if men shave their heads because they want them to resemble a large breast? Then what are they gonna do for a nipple? Glue a Hershey's Kiss on top?
My theory is that somewhere along the way, someone had the most ingenious idea for dealing with the problem of alopecia, etc., that has ever been presented thus far. We've seen "rugs" and toupees and hair transplants and spray on Ronco hair and the altogether ridiculous-looking combover that we've all grown to know and hate. LOL.
What better way to gain acceptance than to "mass market" the problem as something that represents masculinity, sexiness, virility, manlihood? Instead of trying in vain to grow it back, or glue it back on, as the case may be, just shave it! It may have started with Telly "Who Loves Ya, Baby?" Sevalas (sp) and Yul Brynner, but, as soon as the bald head was widely accepted and even considered desirable by women, it took off like gangbusters!
Personally, I'm wondering when being size 6 is going to stop being considered sexy and when having curves will be in again..sigh..back to the drawing board!

The way I heard it was the bald look got popular because women find it sexy, and women find it sexy because it is subliminaly phallic.
I think allot of men sport the look because subconciously they think it makes them look like a huge penis and that makes them feel macho. But everytime I see a good looking bald man I want to lick his head, so what does that say about me.
