The book Kama Sutra teaches Tantra which is over 2000 years old. It's as much an education and religion as it is an adventure. Highly recommended reading and studying.

Good site.. I started studying and practicing tantra 4 years ago.. can't tell you enough how it has enriched my life in ALL aspects.. not just sexual.

This is the second time on different threads I've heard about this and had no idea what it was. The man I'm dating knew about it but we've not discussed it. I think I'd do better to just get me a book!!! Unless anyone would like to enlighten me on this.

I have studied tantra since 1991 and have learned that the meditative, mental and physical disciplines create unions between the partners on five different levels of being. When I see a lady seeking a soulmate I read her profile to see if she is looking for a tantra partner or a mate who just appears to have a comparible list of qualities sought in a partner. A soulmate will not likely arrive ready made, it will take work to build and consummate the union of two on all levels of being. I also have great faith that my partner moves toward me because I am willing to prepare for her arrival so that I have the skills to recognize her. Should she never come, I trust the universe will provide wonderful creatures to meet all my needs. And it will never hurt me to hold a high vision of a tantra union as what I seek, it helps me creat a better version of me.

I do not know where to begin. We could talk about how to discover if two are properly suited for this union with questions that help find blocks to union. There are risks to each in this practice. We could spend hours talking about specific disciplines/meditations. In the west where we live we seek quick results that proceed from action, the disciplines help us to learn how to be physically still and dynamic on the inside of us. In the west we consider ourselves married with a ceremony and the sexual union. In tantra we will consummate our union in five levels of being.

I keep the book in my back pocket at all times. They have one just the right size.
Its to do with breathing and extending the pleasure...I know it from back to front front to back

1)New Age Tantra Yoga, The Cybernetics of Sex and Love by Howard Zilko, 1975
2)Tantra, The Yoga of Sex by Omar Garrison, 1964
3)Tantra, The Cult of the Feminine by Andre Van Lysebeth, 1995
4)Kundalini by Gopi Krishna, 1985
5)Rebirthing in the New Age by Leonard Orr, 1977
6) I Deserve Love by Sondra Ray, unsure of year published.
All these provide pieces of the puzzle, ref 1) is very usable in defining disciplines and the results you will see from the effort.

It provides an answer for why women cry after an orgasm...it has little to do with our male performance.
It talks about amrita, the female ejaculate. Remember that these practices are considered sacramental in nature, that is; they are symbols of spiritual reality.
