Is the clitoris an under developed penis, or is the penis an over developed clitoris?

I once read an article many years ago from a forgotten source, where women perceived that the penis was an oversized clitoris.
I think it would be interesting to leave this answer up to the court of popular forum opinion.
My first thought is that the clitoris is an under developed male feature that just happens to be there kinda like men having nipples. Really not necessary for reproductive purposes of either sex.
What are your thoughts on this subject?

Women's nipples play a part in the reproductive process???
women perceived that the penis was an oversized clitoris.
I'm guessing they are the same women that were on the White House lawn burning their bras a few decades ago!

I'd have to say a clitoris is a unique and special little organ that has a great variety of potential for pleasure. Learning the specific needs and wants of each clitoris is the joy and challenge of being a man who loves a woman.
Gotta go, I hear Ms. Clitty, er, Kitty calling...

After dishing out all the good stuff God goes to Adam and says, Adam I have two things left in my bag of virtues. You helped quite a bit with making the lion the king, the eagle flying, and the giraffe thing for getting the leaves ff the tree’s was brilliant. You think you could help with these last two things?

God says I have the ability to stand up and pee.

God says, Eve what you think?
Eve says, God you did make me to be Adams help mate, and I do want him to be happy. So sure, give it to him.
God does and Adam goes and pee’s on everything. He comes back and says thank you God.
God looks through his bag and says; Eve I guess that leaves you with multiple orgasms.

Did you know that the clitoris is the only organ in the body that is strictly for pleasure? It has no other purpose. And in it, are twice the concentration of nerve endings as in the penis. Interesting, eh?
At conception, embryos are female. The sex is already decided, whether they will grow into female or male, but it is female. At about 6 weeks is when, if XY (male) androgen comes along and the testes begin to form.
Therefore, I guess if you want to, you can say the penis is just an over-developed clitoris. It wouldn't be completely scientifically correct, but hey... that doesn't often stop people.

Then there's the fact that men reach their "prime" at 17 or 18...when their not gonna get a whole lota hooha anyway. Women reach their prime at 35 or more....yeeee hawww!!
Oppssss..back on topic.....
I can see it being an "over-sized clitoris". Since all human beings start out being female (why men have breasts)...It could be possible that once conception takes place and the sex established.....the clitoris, due to testosterone, develops further..into a penis...maybe...*shrugs*
GAWD...now it's got me thinkin'..what happened with hermaphredites?

A comedian once said "They should have something "manly" come outta them....like beer"  ..can you imagine? They'd be chasin' each other all over the place...cause one or the other is "dry" at the moment!!

lol, that is funny. Reminds me of a joke that my daughter used to tell about an elderly woman who was buying her first car and didn't know how to drive. She asked what the gear shift was and he told her and asked about the lights, and he told her and so on until she got to the ermergency brake, and he told her that it was just in case the brakes didn't work, this bothered her alot that it was just in case and she kept wondering why in case. The salesman finally looked at her and pulled up his shirt and pointed to his nipples. He said" Lady, I have never had a baby, never intend to, and he pointed to his nipples and said, :but these are just in case, lol

Saw a program on PBS about reproduction once. During gestation a fetus actually undergoes the various stages of evolution. Anyway,yes,the clitoris IS actually an underdeveloped penis. It developes into a penis if the child is a male. They actually showed all of this via computer enhancement,boy/girl.
