Well not trying to talk bad about my Ex but she hated to shave her pubic area... I talked her into it a time or two but mostly she let it grow... I hated it. Man you need a machete and a weed wacker to find anything down there and then you end up spitting out hairballs for a couple days after... There was another woman I met who was the same way... I kept gagging because I ended up with a mouth full of hair everytime I tried to do oral sex... Hard to keep the mood... Plus at least in the case of my ex..the hair tended to trap odor. Now some odor is nice but I swear with her you needed a gas mask...even if she took a shower recently...

While it may be uncomfortable to shave..it sure makes it a lot nicer to go down on a woman if she is bare there...

I know this post is about women and shaving, but I have to say I love it when a man shaves down there for the same reason , hair holds moisture and next follows smell., and hair in the mouth is yuck. I prefer a clean shaven face and hate it when you kiss their cheek or try to snuggle with them and it hurts your lips and face. Shave that thing is my reply. My legs get shaved when they need to be and I will shave down there if it is requested. I like the way it feels after I do, but I hate shaving there every other morning just so it doesn't hurt and itch when it grows back in. If I had someone to shave it for me I would love to keep it clean shaven. Opps, did I say that last sentence out loud?

I shave and trim in the private areas.Found that it keeps such annoyances as jock itch down.I prefer my women to have hair only on their heads.

When did it become sheik for women to shave their pubic hair? I personally prefer that they let it grow. Much sexier JMO

IMO a woman should just keep herself well groomed in all areas and be comfortable with herself. Afterall,,most of us aren't into sexual activity 24 hours a day

Alot of guys like the woman shaved down there, guess it reminds them of having sex with a teenager, just my guess lol.

A woman with hairy armpits, ewwwww, now that is just gross.

As I recall, I teenage girls have hair down there. Little school girls don't, and that is why I think women should look like women and not little girls... Plus it adds to their sexual mystique JMO

why don't men get the same pressure to shave that we do? if they don't have to, we don't have to.

why was that such a confusing question?

you aren't pressured by society to shave anything, not even your face. you can sport a beard if you want. women are told that if they do not shave their legs, armpits, and pubic area, they are "gross" and "masculine".

why does this happen?

I totally agree.
I don’t want to be with a women that looks like a prepubescent girl,
I prefer a women to look like a mature women, the way women have looked for eons, before this silly fad.

Oh crap. One more indication that I have to turn in my "sexy" card.

(...and ~gulp~ I'd better email my "friend" and tell him he's way off the mark. I'm NOT in the least bit "sexy" anymore . I'm damned and doomed. )

Then again, perhaps that comment was way too generalized, ya think? Perhaps there ARE some men and women, of ALL different ages and eras, who DON'T think bald is beautiful...still.

If society didn't keep pushing the whole "shaving" idea down our throats, we probably wouldn't think it was "sexy" or "normal".
