I was in Ft. Lauderdale two years ago and invited by a couple I know well to go with them to a "club". Let me tell you, it's a completely wild experience. Don't know if I would ever go again, and I did participate during my visit, but it was a sight right out of a XXX movie. Anyone else ever done this? what were your experiences?

 Guiltless, is ok.... I thought the "did" participate was an interesting post too. 
There is one in New Orleans I had really wanted to go to, before changes in my personal life made me decide against it... but I'm really curious... the one in New Orleans only allows single women and male/female couples in.... no single males (so if you're not in a relationship you gotta sign up with a female buddy ). A buddy recently told me about one closer to me and trying to get me to go.... but I don't think I want to take our particular friendship "there"....  
I'd love to hear others comments & feelings on them too....

To be honest, tatiana, my friends wife, had a girlfriend visiting from Russia. I was invited, as her 'quest" to allow her an easy alibi, for unwelcome suitors. This club was actually very classy. We arrived and the from of the club had a buffet table set out. Great food. a dance flooretc. things didn't get interesting until about 10:30 when they opened up the "back" area. Ther was a changing room, a complete bar, etc etc. anyway It was wild to see couples break out into full on oral sex, at the drop of a hat (so to speak).
I cannot believe that with all the "players" here that no one has been to a club.

yes I have been...many times..I 1st went about 8 yrs ago and since then have actually become friends with the owners.
On the surface it is much like any other night club..until the clothes start coming off.lol..

Many times when I lived in Amsterdam. My company had an account at one, and we used it as a hospitality tool for high flyers visiting us from abroad.

I've never been to a sex club but i think the goers must be free from STDs. If not, then that must be a helluva problem...like a "chain" for transmission.
just out of curiosity, does the goer bang every other woman present or he only does it with is buddy?

Very very strange questions!!!! To the first question, why would people who go to sex clubs have STDs? Sex Clubs are in the entertainments industry, and 95% of the people that go to them are there to watch a strip show, not to pick up a woman. Of course, there are Clubs that cater more for sex than for entertainment, but they're usually called brothels. To the second question.... I don't really understand it in fact, does the clubgoer bang half the women there or bang his friend he went with? If he wanted to bang his friend they may as well have stayed at home to do it, and really, as I said in repy to the first question, most people are there to watch and not to participate.
Saying all this, I don't particularly like sex clubs, and I would never actually choose to go to one, but it is a wonderful hospitality tool, especially for high-flyers coming from countries where the views aren't as liberal as they are in Amsterdam.

China and Wills. I think we are talking about 2 differant type clubs here. China is refering to the "Tittie bar" type and the thread is about "swinger" type. In the former, no there is no sexual intercourse, atleast not overt. In the later , that is what it is for, sexual encounters. Thus not being allowed in unless single female or couple. And yes, Wills, people in these clubs could have STDs. It is the responsibility of the participants to take precautions. And people are free to do whatever with whoever, as long as it is consentual. And, yes, they are very apt to be a good place for transmission of things ya don't want.

thanks for the clarification Bill. you're  .I thought so myself when I read the thread cos guiltless made mention of " participation" in the thread from the very beginning. I thought I got it wrong when I read china's response to my question.
I've been to a couple of "tittie bars" myself as the show watcher and not the "watchee" .............just to take things off my mind. It's great fun though.

To the poster with the STD question. I am sure someone has STD's.
But that is if they are/were irresponsible. I know my gf and I are very careful and I have personally been very careful even prior to having a gf. I think the fact that most ppl in "sex" clubs are open minded about sex they are not afraid to talk about it or address the issue before sex ever happens. On the flip side I have been in afew relationships with a parnter NOT in the lifestyle and the 1st time we had sex they looked almost surprised that I was putting on a condom!

I dont know aht would give you an idea that if you take your girl to a sex club everyone in the club is gona "gang" bang her.
1st is she the only woman in the club? Nope
2nd Is everyone in the club gonna be attractive to her or her attractive to them? Prolly not
PPL go to those clubs for many reasons. Some to watch, some to be watched with THEIR spouse or GF/BF, some to soft swap, some for bi fems, some for full swaps and finally those for orgies or gangbangs.
Personally in the 6 months my gf and I have been dating we have played with others 3 times even though we go to the club every other week at least and sometimes we go for 3-4 weeks in a row.
We did a soft swap once, a full swap once and had a single (24 yr old) bi fem once!
So even our tastes vary from night to night. Most of the time we just liked to be watched having sex with each other!

I wasn't quite sure Wills, which is why I rephrased it in case I had misunderstood it and actually answered something you hadn't meant.. no offense was meant, just wanted to be sure!
And Bill.. yep you're right.. I was talking more about the strip clubs where, in Amsterdam, the girls dance totally naked, some pole-dancing, and in some, live sex on stage with other "employees", although in some cases they may pull up a member of the audience. Some of the "brothels" in Amsterdam also have "live shows" where you can choose your woman....

will, true enough. It is obvious that ANY time you are with a new partner that all precautions should be taken. I highly doubt that most ppl are as careful as I am with sex. Although I have in the past made "mistakes"...
However when it comes to the lifestyle I dont make those "mistakes" it seems more risky although as I said in my above post it might well be less risky.
The greater risk IMO is simply associated with the greater frequency that we have sex with different people. I would wager that a non-swinger having sex with a different person once a month would be in as much risk OR more than a swinger would.

Well I will admit upfront that I am no expert when it comes to this. I only visited the club once (at $55.00 a crack, it kind of pricey!) However for the curious amoung you.
As I mentioned there is a clean changing room, Co-ed, with lockers for your clouths, and an endless supply of clean white towels.
A shower facility.
You are required to bring along a member of the oposite sex, no "loners" there. You can "trade" your partner, if both are consenting, but it's not required. You can politely decline.
There are hot tubs (no thank you. I can only imagine what in there...) there was a very large room Filled with mattressess and pillows. (use your imagination here)
There is a complete bar (no charge for drinks, thats what your $55.00 covered)
There was a nice lounge, completey decorated (tastefully no less)
Then there was sex. My God!! on every level surface someone was doing something to someone. It was like a scene from a XXX movie. I was completely blown away (figure of speech) by the openness of the folks there to get it on in public view.
I really think this club is more suited to the Voyour crowd than as a "sex" club. most stayed with the partner they brought to the party.
No darn it. No senior discounts or early birds specials. I asked!!!

guiltless describe the club I visit very closely BUT they DO allow singels..single females FREE to get in(YAY!!!!!!!!!  ) and single guys a lil more pricey than even a couple. The only sex that happens occurs in the "back" where they have a 7 or so "themed" rooms. Arabian room with a canopy bed and middle eastern scene painted on the wall. Africa, a large(huge) bed with pillows all over it, a mirror room, 2 "box cars" yep beds BUILT INTO the wall that resemble the sleeping compartments on a train, a neon room with no door just beads, a jail cell etc..
In the "night club" portion ppl are provacative and sexy and "sometimes" a lady might flash her breasts but no actual sex takes place. Much like any other club you would visit on a friday or saturday night.

Babyfairy I had a similar experience. I dated a lady that was a waitress at a "swingerS club". I only got in because I was "with" her. Only single women and couples were allowed. I had to sit at the bar and I could NOT participate. I'll tell you I sat at the bar for 4 loooooog hrs. with a huge erection that I could do noting with. It was one of the most erotic experiences I have ever witnessed....you name it and you could "watch" it going on. Lucky for me my date took care of me when we got to my house...under the stars on the deck overlooking the creek....DID I MENTION SHE TOOK CARE OF ME...
