I have started seeing someone recently and while we havent done anything yet, we have talked about sex a great deal. She has told me that she is only able to have an orgasm one time a session, but it is a mind blowing one when she does and she almost passes out.
I had never heard of this before. the few partners I have been with have all been muli orgasmic.
please let me know if this is something common or is there some possible pottential waking up to do for her

Not beging an expert in these type of things, I would think this is relatively common. Certainly nothing to be concerned about as each womans body is different and beautifully unique.

I agree with cyn..^^^ cos I once dated this woman who couldn't orgasm with my rod inside of her. the fingers did the job best. this all depends on the woman's anatomy. some women have got gigantic clit, some small and some almost invisible to the naked eye.
It's a good thing she told you up front. she passes out..oh no almost, when she orgasms once in one session. this therefore implies she would/might pass away if you gave her multi orgasms per session. lol

It could be that she has not met the partner to take her

As long as she has been declared free of medical problems causing passing out, by a doc-it probably just FEELS like she wants to pass out cause it's oh-so-good and she is oh-so-relaxed!

I think that's the sadness of internet dating. We all find out way too much about our potential partners before we actually have sex with them. Before the internet, we found things out as we went along and I thought that was a whole lot more fun.
As far as this orgasmic question... I have friends who speak frankly about sex and some of them have said that they have one mind-blowing orgasm while others have a series of less intense ones. Others still, have a combination of the above. Every woman is different. My only advice to you would be to stop analyzing it so much and go for it. If you're thinking so intensely about this information, it's probably time to move things to the next level. As long as she feels the same way, of course.

On the other hand, knowing these things beforehand can be an attraction (and make both parties MUCH more comfortable when they finally fall into bed)...I'd be freaked if I suddenly found out a new beau was into BDSM, other pain-games or creepy fantasies -- no matter what he was like as a day-to-day person...~shudder~

Good point, Sun. I guess I just miss old-fashioned dating... haven't had much luck on the internet. Plus, I think that when we know too much beforehand, there are certain expectations, if you know what I mean.

ugg - I have so much to learn about being single. Being single these days is VERY complicated. 
One hundred years ago when I was single it was as simple as Billie meets Susie.
I still think that is the best way to go about being single.
Boy meets girl.

hahaha...there are some of us who are definitely 'late bloomers': I dated one fella exclusively during and after high school then stayed married to another for 32+ years. "Old fashioned dating" and "Internet dating" are both new concepts to me
