OK, it is driving me crazy. Lesson for those who need to know how to use the "quote" function on MD
1.) Find the post you wish to quote
2.) Highlight what you wish to quote, right click and copy
3.) Click Post Reply
4.) Right click and paste
5.) Add things like .... at begining or end if you copied only part of post
6.) Highlight everything you wish to mark as a quote, then clcik the QUOTE button on the bottom of edit screen.
7.) You will see QUOTE in brackets at the begining and end of the statement (the one at the end will have a "\" preceeding QUOTE
8.) Click your cursor at the end of the last quote and hit ENTER and type your little hearts content with your comments about the quote.
9.) If you want multiple quotes, scan down the page and repeat for each one you want as seperate in the same message.
Have fun!

Thankyou!!! I was very tempted to say something myself. I keep thinking the statement was made by the wrong person.
So easy:
copy/paste
highlight
Click on 'QUOTE'

well i think people click the quote then delete it while they edit or something and click it again....and it's set on an alternating response which leads to no quote...lol...thing to remember is that with HTML the " / " (forward slash) is the closing tag for any tag......so if you don't see it then you can just type 1 in.......lol

Saw it in this thread happening, so I focus on the problem....
If you put it in a thread about MatchDoctor tools or something, obviously, those needing help didn't go there thus far so I bring the solution to them...Thank you for the question.. I knew someone was gonna ask it.

I know a pretty good wrap around function. How about 'Bold'?
BTW,
If you happen to accidentally delete your quote, try right clicking on your mouse, and select 'Undo'. You should get your quote back.

I see Tinker knows how to use the "Quote" function. Um--Tink--I was just trying to keep the thread as on topic as possible.
