I'm contemplating creating a profile for Adultmatchdoctor and wondered a few things. First of all, has anyone here (that is willing to ID themselves) created a profile on AMD? Secondly, would you be willing to share here or via email your experiences with the site? Thirdly, I have noticed that some of the other adult oriented sites have a lot of spammers. In your experience, have you seen a lot of this kind of activity there or not? Thank you in advance for yur replies.

There ar spammers everywhere, not just on adult sites. Yes I've got a profile there and have posted a couple of times on the new forums there, but that's all I use it for, and to be honest I won't be there much because these forums are much better and not "just" sex-orientated, therefore more interesting. I have seen a few people there that I recognise from the forums here.

Thanks Bull. I just created a profile over there and discovered what yu said about the forums. I wonder if the site will eventually be drawn into this one with some sort of filter for the users who don't wish to participate.

I had a profile over there ("next door") years ago, but mislaid it (no pun intended) and I can't remember who I was  I only used it for silly stuff among friends (like "Did you see the guy with the ruler? Was that inches or centimeters?"  )
I'd read the forums and got a giggle (Oh and learned a WHOLE lot  , but I was always too scared to post...regular MD is more my speed 
Actually made a good friend over there (accidently) ~sigh~ wonder where he ever went........

I put a profile over on Adultmatch and it is definitely the most unusual profile there. It was not that long before a woman from Indiana offered to have sex with me. I am not sure if she was serious - I have not heard from her in a few days. Possibly just teasing me. I have not been spammed there though. I have been on this site a few times.

It also helps if you are a female. Most of the women there seem to be looking for another female. I can't even begin to count how many ads I have seen that include the words "No men!"

I've been on AMD almost as long as I've been here and, quite frankly, have found people there to be more accepting of people than they are here. I'd also say that the hypocrisy here is far worse than there; here people seem to pretend to not be sexual beings...there, most will admit they are. For some reason, it's bad to admit that??? Oh, it's okay to flirt and allude to sex, but to actually talk about it is wrong? People, come on!
As for the forums, keep in mind that it is the admins who determine what the general forums will be - all members can do is start new threads within those topics...and no, not all are sex or perversion related. It's interesting to note that while there are 11 pages of threads in the Dating & Sex forum here, there are only 2 there in the Dating & Romance forum - 6 in the Sex Talk forum. And don't get me going on topics...the discussions here aren't so different from the discussions there. If the use of profanity shatters your sensibilites, oh well.
"Adult" alludes to the idea that people will be mature; this site doesn't seem to care so much about maturity - just hooking up. Yeah, this is a hookup site, too - don't fool yourself, folks!

I've gotten more spam on this site than I have AMD.I've never gotten spam there.I get alot of "Hi,my name is Natalia,I'm from the Ukaraine and I want very much to get to know nice,intelligent American man......"on this site.Never get it on AMD.

I think that, in general, you will find similar things on both sites - the problem I have is the apparent judgment I'm sensing here...that those on the adult site are in someway more promiscuous or perverted than people here - or that one should be embarassed or ashamed to have a profile there. A fair percentage of folks over there came from here and many still have active profiles here.

Hello there LadyMazo, I'm thinking you look awful familiar, lol. Yes I have a profile on both sites. I put the one on AMD on a whim, when i was bored silly one night about 6 months ago. I am rarely on this side anymore, i have way too much fun on the other one! The funny thing is I found love on AMD, didn't find it here. I thought we were all supposed to be adults here, so what's the big deal (no pun intended) about nekkid pics (and no, i don't have any)?
