When studying the Old Testament, I clearly see Christ was doing his work on earth.
In the Old Testament, "The Angel Of The Lord" was amongst the people.
As An Angel Of The Lord
Exodus 3:2 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. Genesis 16:6-7 But Abram said unto Sarai, Behold, thy maid is in thy hand; do to her as it pleaseth thee. And when Sarai dealt hardly with her, she fled from her face. And the angel of the LORD found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur. Judges 2:1 And an angel of the LORD came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said, I made you to go up out of Egypt, and have brought you unto the land which I sware unto your fathers; and I said, I will never break my covenant with you. The Saviour
Isaiah 63:7-9 I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD, and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.
8 For he said, Surely they are my people, children that will not lie: so he was their Saviour.
9 In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old.
Prophesy Of The Messenger
Malachi 3:1 Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts. Can you find Christ in the Old Testament? If so where do you see him?

Not only that Angel but Christ Himself said that all the prophets were pointing to Him and then He went on to illistrate that to those listening by reading about Himself from the old testament. Some say that the old testament has no more use but really the old and the new go together. Furthermore those that taught about Jesus for the first hundered years or so did so from the life of Jesus and from the old testament, the new was being written at the time. Additionally the new testament was not really assembled until around 500 years after Christs resurrection. And even then only clergy could read it. What we see now as the new testament was not available for the general population until the first venacular translation of Martin Luther around 1500 years after Christs resurrection. So that information has not been availble for very long but the old testament has been available for 3000 some odd years or so.

Christ was in the old testament of course. Being our Lord and Creator, He has been around for eternity, thus, of course he was there...

I recently ran across something interesting; The Old Testament seemed to have once been divided into 3 collections before the the Canon.
These 3 collections were:
The Law The Prophets The Psalms
Here is why I say this...
Luke 24: 44-46 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: Jesus also referred as 2 collections:
John 10:34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? Psalms 82:6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. This may explain why most of the time there were two collections referred to as a sum for the whole.
Matt. 5: 17-18 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Matt. 11: 12-13 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John; since that time the gospel of the kingdom of God has been preached...
Luke 16: 16-17 The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.
And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail. John 1: 45 Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. Acts 13: 15 And after the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, Ye men and brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on. Acts 24: 14 But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets.

Most assuredly. The OT is very telling. Jesus has always existed. Man's concept of time is lacking. I guess the best way I can verbalize it is to say, it is multi-dimensional. God has already seen our futures. Our present may be past, for all we really know. Better reel myself in before I get too "out there".
I wanted to expand on the first verse you posted, Angel.
3:1 Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, [even] to Horeb.
3:2 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush [was] not consumed.
3:3 And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.
3:4 And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here [am] I.
3:5 And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest [is] holy ground.
3:6 Moreover he said, I [am] the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.
3:7 And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which [are] in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;
3:8 And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
Time, and time again, I see historical OT stories that depict what is to come. Even though the scripture is in reference to the deliverance of the Lord's people from Egypt, take a look at the similarities in the chain of events at the Second Coming.
Jesus/Angel of the Lord draws His flock together. There is mention of a land flowing with milk and honey. God/Jesus/Angel of the Lord has come down to deliver His flock from the enemy. There is a burning flame, but what is within it, on holy ground, is not consumed. There is quite a bit of history repeating itself, and the many window illustrations we are given indicate a very significant pattern.
Help! I am having trouble locating the scripture where Abraham dined with the angels. I think it was when Sarah/i was told she would conceive. Also, the scripture where God is saying He will not always dwell/walk with man (OT). I forget the actual verse, and I wanted to read it again. Sound familiar? Anyone?

Help! I am having trouble locating the scripture where Abraham dined with the angels. I think it was when Sarah/i was told she would conceive Would this be it Classy?
Gen 18:1-5 And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day;
2 And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,
3 And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant:
4 Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree:
5 And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said.

the scripture where God is saying He will not always dwell/walk with man (OT). I forget the actual verse, and I wanted to read it again Maybe it is this one Classy!
Gen. 6:1-3 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

Bingo! Yes!
This is some great verse. It tells us three angels appeared, and we discover one of them was the Lord. We are told the angels consumed food, so they had human physical characteristics and functions.
There appears to have been something about the angels that differentiated them from humans, because Abraham recognized the Lord right away. Wings maybe? It doesn't say.
I will comment later on the other scripture. In the meantime, did you give anymore thought to the possibility of Michael being Jesus (asking Angel)? There isn't much scripture on the archangel.

omega o·me·ga [ o máyg? ] (plural o·me·gas) noun Definition: 1. last letter of Greek alphabet: the 24th and final letter of the Greek alphabet, represented in the English alphabet as "o" 2. end: the end, or the last thing in a series ( literary ) [Early 16th century. < Greek o mega "great (i.e., long) o," as opposed to o mikron (see omicron] http://encarta.msn.com/dictionary_1861634882/omega.html) I consider it to be the end of existence as we know it. The heavens and the earth will be rearranged, and the new Jerusalem will descend from the heavens. Satan, and sin, will be destroyed. I believe Jesus is God, and God is infinite.
Revelation 3:11-13
11 `I am coming quickly; hold fast what you have, so that no one will take your crown. 12 `He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will not go out from it anymore; and I will write on him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My new name. 13 `He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.'
Revelation 21:1-2
1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea. 2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband.

Isaiah foretold what will happen in the new earth, so I will post and we can take a peek!
Isaiah 65
17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.
21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.
22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
23 They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.
24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.

I want to bump this back up.
Balaam, the Donkey, and the Angel 22 Then God’s anger was aroused because he went, and the Angel of the LORD took His stand in the way as an adversary against him. And he was riding on his donkey, and his two servants were with him.
23 Now the donkey saw the Angel of the LORD standing in the way with His drawn sword in His hand, and the donkey turned aside out of the way and went into the field. So Balaam struck the donkey to turn her back onto the road.
24 Then the Angel of the LORD stood in a narrow path between the vineyards, with a wall on this side and a wall on that side.
25 And when the donkey saw the Angel of the LORD, she pushed herself against the wall and crushed Balaam’s foot against the wall; so he struck her again.
26 Then the Angel of the LORD went further, and stood in a narrow place where there was no way to turn either to the right hand or to the left.
27 And when the donkey saw the Angel of the LORD, she lay down under Balaam; so Balaam’s anger was aroused, and he struck the donkey with his staff.
28 Then the LORD opened the mouth of the donkey, and she said to Balaam, “What have I done to you, that you have struck me these three times?”
29 And Balaam said to the donkey, “Because you have abused me. I wish there were a sword in my hand, for now I would kill you!”
30 So the donkey said to Balaam, “Am I not your donkey on which you have ridden, ever since I became yours, to this day? Was I ever disposed to do this to you?” And he said, “No.”
31 Then the LORD opened Balaam’s eyes, and he saw the Angel of the LORD standing in the way with His drawn sword in His hand; and he bowed his head and fell flat on his face.
32 And the Angel of the LORD said to him, “Why have you struck your donkey these three times? Behold, I have come out to stand against you, because your way is perverse before Me.
33 The donkey saw Me and turned aside from Me these three times. If she had not turned aside from Me, surely I would also have killed you by now, and let her live.” Notice these words are capitalized? KJV
34 And Balaam said to the Angel of the LORD, “I have sinned, for I did not know You stood in the way against me. Now therefore, if it displeases You, I will turn back.”
35 Then the Angel of the LORD said to Balaam, “Go with the men, but only the word that I speak to you, that you shall speak.” So Balaam went with the princes of Balak.

[QUOTE]Saved in Fiery Trial 19 Then Nebuchadnezzar was full of fury, and the expression on his face changed toward Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. He spoke and commanded that they heat the furnace seven times more than it was usually heated.
20 And he commanded certain mighty men of valor who were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, and cast them into the burning fiery furnace.
21 Then these men were bound in their coats, their trousers, their turbans, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
22 Therefore, because the king’s command was urgent, and the furnace exceedingly hot, the flame of the fire killed those men who took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego.
23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
24 Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished; and he rose in haste and spoke, saying to his counselors, “Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?” They answered and said to the king, “True, O king.”
25 “Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.”[a]

I like this one!
Ok...
25 “Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.” Let's compare...
Isaiah 43: 2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
3 For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.
22 Therefore, because the king’s command was urgent, and the furnace exceedingly hot, the flame of the fire killed those men who took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. There were only three men named that were thrown in the fire, but there was a fourth one in the furnace...

I will be looking for more soon too. I am trying to read more of the Old Testament now.
Hm, makes you wonder why he said,Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.”[

I think the answer if in the further on verses...
Dan. 3: 28 Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, [B]Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.
