I ask of you all my dear friends that you give your personal blessings and prayers as I have eye surgery tomorrow morning. I feel strong and not afraid, but excited to have a clear view of my world around me.
Many of you are dear to my heart and dear to my mind, so think of me for a second or two and may you make a wish of my hasten recovery.
I will be in touch as soon as I can to let you all know how I am doing.

 Everybody! I just returned home! Feeling still quite drugged from anesthesias, maybe need the 12 step? lol... I just need to eat and lay down for a while, but wanted to let everyone know I am doing fine, just uncomfortable and sore as hell right now.
Thank you for your prayers and well wishes too! Love you all very much!

 So glad you're OK  My mom had successful surgeries in both eyes a few years ago for cataracts. She sees perfect so I bought her a new TV set.
Take a break from the computer. Go rest and see you tomorrow. We''ll still be here.

Angel, you are a blessing. Glad to here you are doing better.
Onoudn, I hope you have found some peace and some of your anger about the 12-step has abated. Sorry it wasn't what you think it should be. Perhaps you're right, and it has flaws, but with the number of people it seems to help, maybe you should accept that it is flawed but not going away.
