You just can't deal with the truth, hammer, but again, this was started for inspiration, not argument.

Bev,
Lol, sail, OFF TOPIC You are perfectly welcome to do your posts, but make your own thread. I was right on topic!
I posted a testimonial of a christian that believes in Jesus but not your dogma. He is a young man that definitely was touched by Jesus' teachings and dedicated his learning years to know him better. In doing so he found that christian dogma was just a collection of pagan fables and rejected them for what they were.
Thanks to deciding to serve Jesus alone I no longer believe the system they blamed him on or the book they wrote about him. I think there probably was an enthusiastic Jewish preacher behind the stories
It might even be 'god' who helped me get out of the Christian nonsense because whilst still a Christian I prayed very earnestly again and again to know the truth and see reality, maybe my desires where somehow acknowledged by the energies behind existence I don't know. So you may not like what the testamony says, but it is on topic. It is an honest testimonial from a follower of Jesus.
You are posting Fairy Tales produced by delusional people that claim they are true testimonies. Not one of the stories you posted can be substantiated.
A testamonial is supposed to be "a statement supporting a fact". By this definition all your posts were

As I said before:A testimonial is supposed to be "a statement supporting a fact". None of your posted so called testimonials can be substantiated. You should have called this thread "Delusions of those who have seen the Lord". You would then have been on topic with your posts.

Bev,
They are all medically substantiated, sail, that is why I posted those. Are you saying that doctors actually substantiated that their patiant actuall saw god of Jesus?
Please provide the medical substantiation of this story:
After Kennedy was able to talk, I said, "You were asleep for a long time, I have been missing you. What did you do?" He answered, "An angel picked me up and we flew. We flew through walls, clouds, and I flew through you, Mommy."
I asked him what the angel looked like, and he told me the angel had long white clothes. Kennedy told me they flew to heaven and that there was a door with jewels all around it and "when they opened that door, it was snowing in there."
I was careful not to put words in Kennedy's mouth, I wanted this to be his memory. The only time I asked him a detailed question was when I asked him if he had seen his Uncle Mark in heaven. Kennedy told me that he did see Mark in heaven and that he looked "just like Jesus, and all his boo-boos were gone." He told me Mark was happy and that he wanted to stay in heaven.
Kennedy told me that Jesus held him and that there were a lot of angels. Kennedy also described seeing a volcano. He told me, "There were people in the volcano, there was a dragon in there with them and they were sad, there was fire all around the volcano." The boy's medical situation and recovery may have been amazing but the doctors cannot substantiate the above nonsense.
Peace

Since people are too timid I'll post what's already been posted.
Three Accounts of Insane Delusions and Hallucinations ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
I've written before of how, many years ago, in 1986, I experienced communion with God. The conversation took place on 3 consecutive nights while I lay in bed. These conversations took place in and around a prayer. I was feeling desperate and very alone + filled with fear, as I lay in my bed in a bedroom on the ground floor of a drapeless 2-bedroom apartment. It was my first night alone in a body then unable to effectively deal with most interactions usually-necessary for a single adult in this society. I knew the basics of prayer. I just hadn't been the author of one in 10-15 years. I asked God to help me. And I asked Him to protect me. Those first 2 nights here, the prayer was really short. Then on the 3rd night, I began the prayer the usual way, but then something changed a little. I'm unable to accurately describe it, but something like the voice-of-conscience each of us has, sounded inside my head. See? The voice in the head.
It was something else again. A little more intense. This Voice repeated my requests back to me. Then in a tone I could not ignore, I was assured of the granting of my requests. Voices in the head..
=========================================================================
Here's a really good one.
I had an OBE when I was 16. I was recovering from a bad case of flu when I suffered from Reyes Syndrome. It was early in the first widespread outbreak, so even doctors did not know much about it.I had a fever of 105.6 and it kept rising higher and higher. A pretty detailed and feverish conversation with god to save the world while under the spell of a high fever.
During the OBE I stood before God, who did appear as a being of light. I was scared beyond belief. I said "God, I'm only sixteen. I am still young and there are so many things I want to do in my life. I want to get married, have children and grow old. If you will put me back in my body, I will do anything you say." He said, "Are you sure you mean anything?" I said, "Yes, God. I mean anything." He said, " You will save the world from evil." (I was Catholic at the time, so I was expecting Him to say something more like, "say 800 rosaries, or 1200 Hail Mary's" or something. I was also expecting to see St. Peter at the Pearly Gates. There was neither one present.) "I said what do you mean?" He said, "You will save the world from the Evil One, Satan." Before I could object, I was back in my body. Forty-five minutes had elapsed from the time I was pronounced dead until I opened my eyes and spoke. No, I was not dreaming or hallucinating. I was not only dead, but dead long enough for my body to go from raging with fever to already turning cold! In another fifteen minutes or so I would have started turning stiff! =========================================================================
Voices and physical interaction.
This morning I was thinking about the date I was planning for this week end, he was driving a great distance here and was going to stay in town. I was getting ready to pour my coffee and suddenly, it was like I was physically pushed backwards and I heard, "BACK OFF." Lol, I love it, guess who was telling me that that one wasn't going to happen either to just back off. Now, I know you guys will think I am hearing voices, am crazy, but I am not, and voices don't push you backwards, not enough to make me think I would fall, but enough to know that I was thinking about meeting the wrong man. Yes you are....

Lol, try it, hammer, see if you become delusional or insane, surely you could hold on to your sanity when the others, so you say, couldn't. Then, and only then, can you qualify as an expert.

Those will see the lord or anyone else because that is their own belief to do so or been presented according to best fit there own belief.
What you get is what you belief when the true nature is very much different than the belief.

You might hallucination a pile of money like anything else. I guess you have thought about mental illness being a part of these manifestations of the mind? No, of course not. Christians avoid psychologists and psychiatrists like the plague.

No, they don't, I am a member of the Christian Counselor's Association.
Some sects, do, of course, just as Jehovah Witnesses won't have a blood transfusion, but that is not the majoral part of Christians on either count.
