Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

There are certain Foundations that are most important to the Christian Faith. Without them we As Christians would not have a leg to stand upon.
One of these Is the Word of God. We believe as Christians that The Holy Bible is the Living Word of God.

The first thing we find when we open Gods word is The creation of the Heavens and the Earth. Notice according to the First verse in the Book of Genesis. The Heavens and the Earth were Created By God.

As Christians we must understand that the world and the stars and the heavens did not just come to be. But that they were created by Gods design. Therefore We must also assume that God has and had A Purpose in doing so.

Their are many different directions one can take from this point in the Bible. Their is much wisdom buried in analogy and Metaphor in the Word of God.
I ask that those of you who are Christians take time to bow your heads and Ask God that he would give me wisdom in the words that I share on this thread. Once again I thank the Mod For the Gift of this thread.

There are many versions and opinions of what the truth is of Gods Word. Yet Gods truth Is One Truth. It is his, and As true Christians we need to seek to understand his truth. I have no wish to Lead anyone to Hunts truth . My Desire is that all who will seek to know God would be Helped to understand the road to doing so.

Rather you are a Christian already or your heart is seeking to know the Truth about God I give you a solution to finding Gods truth. There is a different Church on every Corner, Each with a little different twist of the Bible and its Meaning.
Allow me to open to you another Possibility.

Take your Bible in your Hands and Ask God to Give you his truth. Tell him from your heart that if he will open it to you you will seek to understand it and apply it to your life. Ask God to Give you understanding of his truth. Not mans religion.
Tell him you want to know him from your heart of hearts and ask him to bless the words in his Bible that you will see the truth of them and they will be written on your heart. Friends God will not let you down! As you read you will find understanding you have never Had before. The hunger for truth will Grow in your hearts and your souls will be fed with new understanding . As you apply it to your life. And ask God to lead and guide you to the right people and into the right understanding, Again he will not Let you Down! He will be your teacher and his presence and spirit of Life will thrill your soul. God is Real and his Spirit is True Ask and ye shall recieve, Seek and ye shall find. Knock and it shall be opened unto you!
God bless you all and keep and Grow you as you begain your journey in a fresh new way. I recomend several different versions of the bible.

1. The king James version
2. New King James
3. American Standard
4. English standard
5. NIV

Though I prefer King James I realize everyone isn't comfortable with the thees and Thou's

I am going to cover some ground I have covered in the past in other comments
now that it can be done uninterrupted so bear with me if I get repetetive. Repetition is Good for the memory.

John 1:1

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 The same was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.

8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth

Why is it so important that as Christians that we believe in Jesus christ as our advocate with the father?
Genesis 2
15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

God gave One thou shalt not to man. all man had to do was obey that one rule and believe that the words God spoke were true when he said
But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eat-est thereof thou shalt surely die

Sadly the serpent came to eve

genesis 3; 1-6

1 Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

4
And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

The serpent said the opposite of the words spoken to man by God.

when man ate of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil he chose to believe the words of the serpent over the words of God.

Notice the serpent also used enticing words in saying Ye shall be as God. in that ye shall know good from evil. many religions today lift man up in the same way and encourage man to look on and within himself for God. This is wrong. We are called to honor our creator. We are the created given charge over the creation by God. We were meant to tend the Garden. God gave man the ability to choose.

The tree of life was taken away from man as consequence of mans disobedient behavior to God. Man begin to die as the life begin to trickle from him. All men are given a measure of life at birth. This measure is meant to be replenished in a right relationship with God.

Jesus Brought back to man the tree of life.

John 1;4-5
4. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not

Jesus has brought that life and light back to man. We can remain in darkness and not Comprehend him if we wish. Or we can look on him and Ask him to come into our hearts and to help us to know and understand him. At some point we can truly from our hearts say lord I believe. I find it Intresting that it was halfway through peters three years with Jesus that Jesus asked peter who he believed that he was.I believe the christian walk is a pattern of growth. We come as children and are called to grow in Christ. We aren't to remain drinking milk forever. We are to mature into the meat of the word of God and grow in understanding.

The choice has been given back to man to believe in God and seek his Truth that we can obey it or not.

CHOOSE YOU THIS DAY

I ask for the prayers of all my fellow christians that I follow Gods will on this thread we have been given and once again express my thanks to the mod. And above all else my Thanks to my God.

Prayer

When man turned his back on God and said I will be as God he said in effect God we can handle it from here. Why is the world in such a bad state you ask? How can God stand by and allow such heartbreak and wickedness if he is real you ask again.

God gave to man the power of Choice. There is a responsibility that goes with that ability. Our choices can effect our immediate lives as well as others. These choices can also effect future Generations. They can bring sickness ,desiese, famine.
and Poverty. The Greed of one can cause the starvation of many. That is why love for one another is so Important in the choices we make. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you has very real merit as A lifestyle.

When man Chose not to believe in God. Not to obey God. God stepped back when he was rejected. God wants to be Wanted by his children. He forces himself on nobody. Jesus Said after this manner therefore pray ye. Our father which art in heaven ( we first acknowledge him for who he is, then follow it up by giving Honor to his name with a ) Hallowed be thy Name. Then he went on to say.
THY KINGDOM COME, THY WILL BE DONE, IN EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN then once Gods will has been given priority we bring our needs to him. if we do not respect and honor him and seek his will How can we Come to him with a list of needs. Are we to treat God as A genie in a bottle? No! We are to love him and honor him and seek his will and when his desire and ours becomes one due to a properly alighned relationship with God we will ask and It will be Given.

Christ said ye ask and receive nothing because ye ask amiss. People isn't it time we fixed our eyes upon Gods will? I choose Jesus and pray his will be Done
In Earth as it is in heaven. The earth Is meant to be a beautiful place full of love for one another. Our choices have made it what it has come to be. Our choices can also change it back to what it was meant to be. CHOOSE YOU THIS DAY PEOPLE!

Obedience Is a key element in any form of society, or organization.
Children are expected to obey their parents. Our society has laws that are given for the Good of all. The same rings true of morals values and ethics. When selfishness and a lack of discipline are allowed to rule in our choices and bad choices are made. prices will be paid. If we don't follow rules in the work place we will not have a Job. If we break the Laws of society we will pay fines or be incarcerated, possibly even be put to death.
Obedience is key to mature decision making. Without Rules and obedience to them. every man looks on himself and says I will do what makes me feel good. We Now have a world that is more interested In being entertained then caring about one another. God is all about loving one another.when we embrace selfish desire we separate ourselves from the will of God.

THE WILL OF GOD

As Christians many times we feel the need to seek the will of God in a given situation or in choices to be made. It is Good that we show God this respect and
honor of truly letting him know we have no wish to step outside his will. This in effect can be a very important step in truly discovering the way into finding the will of God in our lives.
I believe the scriptures when they say, "many are called but few are chosen."
Their are those in this world who God has and will choose for a specific role and purpose in the things of God. There are children of Israel If you will. And there are the levites. Among the Levites God once again had his chosen vessels.. their were three families under Levi, Kohath, Marari, and Gershon. Of these three
families Kohath was chosen to handle the Responsibilities of the Temple. Marari and Kohath were bearers of burdens and assemblers and dissemblers of the temple in the journeys of the Children of Israel. Kohath had Its Chosen among its own as well.
The priests were the only ones allowed to care for the inner workings of the temple
and the high priest allowed to step into the most holy place only once a year.

I believe we are given many lessons in the way God wants his house to be ran
in the temple in the wilderness and the descriptions of the cleansing rituals that a priest was required to go through before handling the things of God. I Also believe this is one reason for the weakness of the church today. The abomination of desolation now sets readily apparent for all to see in the place where it does not belong. The religion of the day has lifted man up to heights above other men and they have lost the understanding of consecration and dedication and separation from a worldly life. The world now can acquire an education to sit in the most high place in the house of God and not even know the God of whom they teach. It has become a thing of recognition to be a Elder or deacon in the church. Sadly discernment and wisdom is usually lacking in the choosing of those Qualified to handle the Issues of God in his house. Pride has taken its pompous seat before the children. and the relationship with God has been traded for the Seat of religious recognition before men.
While Much of the Church cries Grace, Grace, they embrace the hammer of the Law and swing it with crushing blows upon those who would truly know the grace of God. We are called to grow in the knowledge of God. We are to Grow in the grace of God. How can we embrace the Grace of God without understanding it?
Without knowing the Need of it. Only when we have Come to the end of ourselves in heartbroken defeat and can see our weakness and human inadequacies are we able to brokenheartedly fall before the Lord Jesus who gives us his Grace and truly embrace the grace of God. This is Truly the role of the Scoolteacher.(the law) God does his thing when we have Quit trying to do our thing. We must have faith in him to do it all.

Trust in the Lord and lean not to your own understanding.

Be ye anxious for nothing

Take no thought for tomorrow for sufficient is the evil of the day thereof.

The will of God Is that we as his children Grow in the knowledge and understanding of him. That we come a little closer to him each day. We are not all called to do Great things in the eyes of men and God. We are called to honor and obey and he will Love and Cherish those who grow into true sons of God. Yes he loves us all. And just because their are children doesn't mean they cant Grow in the Knowledge of God. As we grow in our Personal relationship with God and find ourselves facing decisions in life. We will find in most cases we will know the will of God and our decisions will be between self realization and God realization.
The Closer we grow to God the more the old man falls away and we are renewed in his spirit and likeness. Temptation will run away, if we will only resist it. Gods will can most consistently be found by finding that True Relationship With God that man was intended to have. When self is laid on the alter and God Given his place we are far richer and far more blessed then If we seek to please carnal man.

Good and Evil

There were two trees in the midst of the Garden.

We were meant to partake of one.

We were warned not to partake of the other.

Many will tell you to look within yourself
that you will find God there. This is partially
true and partially false therefore deceptive in
it's message.

When God created man he formed man of the dust of the earth
God then breathed life into man.. Every man who is born is given a measure of this life. It is meant to be replenished. We will not find more of it within us without the
Giver of life being welcomed into our lives, And the Dust being revived once more.
Or shall I Say Resurrected. The dead dust of our earthly self is meant to embrace the life that is in the Creator.

Christ said." I am the resurrection and the life."
It is through his sacrifice the life was brought back to man.
He left us the example of his life as a path to the cross.
We are told "take up your cross and follow me".
The Cross leads to the giving of ourselves as we grow ever closer to the
one who created us through the example of Jesus Christ and his life and message being born in us. Love is the nature of this message. Selfishness has no place there

1st cor 13
1Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Charity and Love are one and the same.

Many of us can claim to love but we cannot truly love without Self importance
being laid to rest. Love is something we grow into. God Is Love.

Man looks within himself he finds his own good in his own eyes. He ate the fruit and both Good and evil were made apparent to him. Yet have you ever noticed we
were never meant to know the difference. The Knowledge of Good and Evil are the fruit of the same tree. both were denied us. They are both from the same root.
this fruit comes from embracing self. rather then life. We can partake of it today
as we reject the life Jesus brought back to us. Or we can Say God I want to Do things your Way. and the Life can give us the strength to overcome our carnal nature. As we Grow in the Love and nature of God we will shed the things that are not of God in our lives. as we continue to eat the fruit of the Tree of life. We will lose our lives and truly find them in Christ. (We are called to Life and Liberty) Do I stand here saying death to self is Easy. No. at times it is painful. Growing always has pains. Anything worth having has its price. The most ultimate of all prizes requires the greatest of prices. Our Lives.
May God give you strength and give you wisdom in the Choices you make this day.

CHOOSE YOU THIS DAY!

Over and over as we read through the Bible it becomes apparent
there is an underlying Theme to the bible. That Theme is man
choosing to do things his way and separating himself from Gods will.

From The garden of Eden To Cains sacrifice of that which came from the cursed earth, And from the sweat of his brow. Compared to the Gift of Love and Life from Able, We are given a picture of what God wants from us. It isn't works. It is our selves, Our hearts focused on him. He Longs for our love and our Desire to serve him and follow his Guidance. When our Hearts and Desires are in tune with him Our actions will show it. If we seek to win his approval by actions our hearts will not
be given and we will be unsuccessful. We cannot earn what God gives. yet when he Gives it, and we receive it, our fruits will bear witness that we are on the right track, and our actions will be empowered by his spirit in our lives. God has an order to the way he does things.

We are told that men were of one mind to build a tower into the heavens.
Men thought they could reach heaven of their own efforts, They could bypass Gods way once again. God destroyed that tower and the ruins of its base exist today.
Once again man has tried to do things his way by creating Religious beliefs that fit his lifestyle. and then telling himself If I do such and such I can win my way to Heaven. Their is only one way to God. That is through Jesus Christ our lord.

What do those words mean?

First we must believe on him. this requires that we know and Have a understanding of him.

Second , We have been given the example of his life here on earth. We are told
" Take up your cross and follow me" This is the way of Love and obedience and selflessness.
There are many things we can do in this Life to separate ourselves from the will of God. These things are all found through the Power of Choice. I face decisions each day that draw me Closer to God or separate me from his spirit. God is very real. That which is Intangible is far richer in substance then that which is Tangible.
I pray we each make the right Choices in our lives.

CHOOSE YOU THIS DAY

Numbers chapter 12
1 And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman.

2 And they said, Hath the LORD indeed spoken only by Moses? hath he not spoken also by us? And the LORD heard it.

3 (Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.)

4 And the LORD spake suddenly unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and unto Miriam, Come out ye three unto the tabernacle of the congregation. And they three came out.

5 And the LORD came down in the pillar of the cloud, and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam: and they both came forth.

6 And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.

7 My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house.

8 With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?

9 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against them; and he departed.

10 And the cloud departed from off the tabernacle; and, behold, Miriam became leprous, white as snow: and Aaron looked upon Miriam, and, behold, she was leprous.

11 And Aaron said unto Moses, Alas, my lord, I beseech thee, lay not the sin upon us, wherein we have done foolishly, and wherein we have sinned.

12 Let her not be as one dead, of whom the flesh is half consumed when he cometh out of his mother’s womb.

13 And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, Heal her now, O God, I beseech thee.

14 And the LORD said unto Moses, If her father had but spit in her face, should she not be ashamed seven days? let her be shut out from the camp seven days, and after that let her be received in again.

15 And Miriam was shut out from the camp seven days: and the people journeyed not till Miriam was brought in again.

16 And afterward the people removed from Hazeroth, and pitched in the wilderness of Paran.

Numbers chapter 16
1 Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men:

2 And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown:

3 And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD?

4 And when Moses heard it, he fell upon his face:

5 And he spake unto Korah and unto all his company, saying, Even to morrow the LORD will shew who are his, and who is holy; and will cause him to come near unto him: even him whom he hath chosen will he cause to come near unto him.

6 This do; Take you censers, Korah, and all his company;

7 And put fire therein, and put incense in them before the LORD to morrow: and it shall be that the man whom the LORD doth choose, he shall be holy: ye take too much upon you, ye sons of Levi.

8 And Moses said unto Korah, Hear, I pray you, ye sons of Levi:

9 Seemeth it but a small thing unto you, that the God of Israel hath separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself to do the service of the tabernacle of the LORD, and to stand before the congregation to minister unto them?

10 And he hath brought thee near to him, and all thy brethren the sons of Levi with thee: and seek ye the priesthood also?

11 For which cause both thou and all thy company are gathered together against the LORD: and what is Aaron, that ye murmur against him?

12 And Moses sent to call Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab: which said, We will not come up:

13 Is it a small thing that thou hast brought us up out of a land that floweth with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, except thou make thyself altogether a prince over us?

14 Moreover thou hast not brought us into a land that floweth with milk and honey, or given us inheritance of fields and vineyards: wilt thou put out the eyes of these men? we will not come up.

15 And Moses was very wroth, and said unto the LORD, Respect not thou their offering: I have not taken one ass from them, neither have I hurt one of them.

16 And Moses said unto Korah, Be thou and all thy company before the LORD, thou, and they, and Aaron, to morrow:

17 And take every man his censer, and put incense in them, and bring ye before the LORD every man his censer, two hundred and fifty censers; thou also, and Aaron, each of you his censer.

18 And they took every man his censer, and put fire in them, and laid incense thereon, and stood in the door of the tabernacle of the congregation with Moses and Aaron.

19 And Korah gathered all the congregation against them unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the congregation.

20 And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

21 Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.

22 And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, sha

23 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

24 Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from about the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram.

25 And Moses rose up and went unto Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him.

26 And he spake unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest ye be consumed in all their sins.

27 So they gat up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side: and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the door of their tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little children.

28 And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the LORD hath sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind.

29 If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the LORD hath not sent me.

30 But if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD.

31 And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them:

32 And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods.

33 They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation.

34 And all Israel that were round about them fled at the cry of them: for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up also.

35 And there came out a fire from the LORD, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense.

36 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

37 Speak unto Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, that he take up the censers out of the burning, and scatter thou the fire yonder; for they are hallowed.

38 The censers of these sinners against their own souls, let them make them broad plates for a covering of the altar: for they offered them before the LORD, therefore they are hallowed: and they shall be a sign unto the children of Israel.

39 And Eleazar the priest took the brasen censers, wherewith they that were burnt had offered; and they were made broad plates for a covering of the altar:

40 To be a memorial unto the children of Israel, that no stranger, which is not of the seed of Aaron, come near to offer incense before the LORD; that he be not as Korah, and as his company: as the LORD said to him by the hand of Moses.

41 But on the morrow all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, Ye have killed the people of the LORD.

42 And it came to pass, when the congregation was gathered against Moses and against Aaron, that they looked toward the tabernacle of the congregation: and, behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of the LORD appeared.

43 And Moses and Aaron came before the tabernacle of the congregation.

44 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

45 Get you up from among this congregation, that I may consume them as in a moment. And they fell upon their faces.

46 And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a censer, and put fire therein from off the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly unto the congregation, and make an atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out from the LORD; the plague is begun.

47 And Aaron took as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the congregation; and, behold, the plague was begun among the people: and he put on incense, and made an atonement for the people.

48 And he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stayed.

49 Now they that died in the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, beside them that died about the matter of Korah.

50 And Aaron returned unto Moses unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the plague was stayed.

Men have always sought to lift themselves up and do things their way and have power over others in the positions of religious belief.
Many new religions have been founded due to disobedience to God.
Is It no wonder they are powerless and the world is in such a wicked state.

In the above examples we are shown That god has his way and It is meant to be followed. Moses was a form of savior to the children of Israel He was also Gods mouthpiece. man has sought to lay aside the word of God for their own versions
in many ways. when they do this they seek to destroy what is true and faithful
because It exposes the foundation of Lies they stand on. Jesus is the way the truth and the Life. No man cometh unto the father but by him. Don't be deceived by lies of a universal God that embraces all religions of men. Their is but one way to God. thru Jesus Christ our Lord.

The World today looks on Religion of the Christian flavor and shakes its head in
judgement at every slip and fall. The world has wormed its way into the house of God. And the voice of God is seldom heard in the house that people Come to in their darkest times to find God. If one finds themselves in that place in life where their heart is broken and Their need is great they will more then likely be disappointed in the direction , guidance, and love, That is given from the majority of those who claim to serve God in this day and age. Every one of us as Christians have been guilty of being less then we ought to in our walk with God and in our love of our fellow man.

So what is the answer to this dilemma. Do we as Christians stand by and let The world who will not even acknowledge the existence of God, Be the judge and
Jury over the things of God, While the religions of the world ridicule the ones who would serve their creator. Do we allow them the luxury of establishing Christian doctrine as well? While so many refuse to walk in the footsteps of the savior, They seem to think they are qualified to judge those who seek to honor and obey. Is it any wonder that the Church has become the week vessel that it has when it has embraced its Dathens and Ibriams and given them the high seat of importance in the eyes of men in the churches across the land.

The Answer lies in the growth of a personal relationship with God. Don't be
willing to believe all that you hear. Seek the Truth ask God for guidance. Welcome his spirit into your life. Embrace it and apply Gods truth to your life as his spirit opens his truth to you. Do not be deceived into allowing the world to tell you what a Christian ought to be. Seek Gods truth. Ask him for it. He will lead you to it. Be careful in your choices. CHOOSE YOU THIS DAY

Due to the Constant attacks which came against this thread in its long life now that it is shut down, I felt the need to give it a peaceful place to rest.

CHOOSE YOU THIS DAY

Picture A Glass of Water As pure and sparkling clear as your
imagination is capable of bringing to mind. Then Make it Purer still.

When God Created Man, He created him in his own Image.
And When He was created He was created pure

1)And God Formed Man of the dust of the earth
2)And Breathed into him The breath of life
3)And man Became A Living Soul

God shaped man of one of the Lowest substences posible
And then Breathed The Breath of Life into That Form.

In This Act We can see where That which is Physical
When embraced by that which is Spiritual, Has Profound
Possibilities.

Let me also bring something else out here before moving on.
The earthly side of man in itself is powerless against that
Which is spiritual in itself.

Notice Dust and life = A Living Soul
Now lets Touch on spirituality.
Spiritualty has two sides to it.

1)life,light,and Truth
2)Death, darkness, and lies

When Saten came to Eve in the Garden and said Thou shalt not surely die!
But you will be as God in that ye shall know good from evil.
Saten told a lie and a truth and he deceives in this way on a reguler
basis.
When Adam and eve ate the forbidden fruit
They Chose The Lie Over Truth.
They turned their back on God and embraced self
They were seperated from the Life by God
They were deceived by saten into opening themselves
to spiritual darkness by seperating themselves from the Light.
And death set in.

When the source of life and man were seperated it opened man
To spiritual darkness and death set in.
Life was so strong and pure in Adam that it took 930
years for him to die. But the life finally ended in death

We Today have been Given the power of Choice. Through the blood of Jesus Christ the Choice between Life and death, between Light and Darkness, between The Truth and A lie, Has been brought back to us.

We choose to believe in God and follow His teaching and grow in him
or not to every day. The decisions we make either strengthen us in Light or weeken us in darkness. But the Choices that lead us back to what we were called to be by God are still ours to make.
We choose right we reap the blessings, we choose wrong we choose
darkness over light and inevitably the curse. Christ brought back to us the life and it empowers us to choose rightly the things in our lives. Yet It is up to us to make the right choices. Some will tell you say a little prayer and All will be well no matter the choices you make from that day forword. I tell you God living in us empowers us to choose rightly everyday. And he sees our hearts. He knows our intententions. Are we striving to grow in him. Or are we seeking to serve our selves. Choose you this day whom you will serve. And tommorow, and the day after that and so on.
He said be ye in the World but not of it. Its time to grow up in God people.
God is Alive and well. He wants to come and live in your Hearts today. You have seen what the world has to offer. Hurt ,pain and selfishness. Greed and hate all around.
Wouldn't you like to know what Love is about? Wouldnt you like to taste
the fruit that grows on the tree of life? Ask Jesus for forgiveness and turn away from the Darkness all around! The light Just Waits for Your Embrace.
Choose you this Day whom you will serve! A Beautiful future lies ahead.
There is peace and Love and Contentment. And It is found Through the reuniting of our Souls with Life and light and Truth. The Darkness will scream its Lies to deceive you
But God is waiting with his arms open wide. You have the power to choose A better life for yourself. I'ts A god Given choice.
CHOOSE YOU THIS DAY WHOM YOU WILL SERVE!
The choice is yours. The rewards and penalties of your choices are yours as well.

THIS THREAD AS WELL AS OTHERS WILL BE GIVEN A PLACE OF REST HERE WHERE THEY CAN BE VIEWED BY THOSE WHO CHOOSE.

CAUSE AND EFFECT

This Thing we have been Given called life Comes with Responsibilities.

Every choice we make in Life has its Effects on our future And The lives of others.
The biggest responsibility we have is to make Good choices.

The choices we make in raising our children have effects on them as well.
Do we know how to say no? Do we know how to stay out of their business
and let them face their responsibilities. Are we still trying to make their choices for them once they are grown. Do we interfere with their raising of their Children.
Do we so soon forget our imperfections in raising our own children.
By to much interference in children's lives we keep them from facing their responsibilities for choices made. As a result They never Grow up and remain dependent upon their parents and never learn the value of being responsible for their decisions.
If we raise our children with the understanding that each action has its rewards and consequences and stick to our guns we can teach them Discipline.

Discipline is a nasty word these days. we live in a society that says Rules
aren't for me I will do whatever makes me feel good regardless of the effects on those around me, the environment, or my future. Then when the prices for bad decisions confront us We want to Look for someone else to bail us out. The result is a Generation that in many ways has not learned to be responsible for their actions. Selfishness has dictated that ones mistakes be paid for by others. Or be blamed on others. When will we face the reality we are responsible for our Actions.
When will we realize no matter how big our hearts are we are not responsible for everybody else's bad choices. We can burden our lives with the effects of others bad choices until we cannot breath the The life we are Given.
Or we can teach them responsibility in their decisions and let them face the realities. A Child who is bailed out time and time again learns to have no care for their actions. In the end they become bad adults.
We Are meant to love our brother and yes sisters too. Sometimes the best love is allowing them to face the reality of bad decisions so that they will learn to make careful choices.
We will meet people all through our lives Who have been irresponsible are we
required to give them the blessings of our good choices to the detriment of our well being. I think we can create a dependent society all around us if we do so and we will find ourselves broken down by their bad choices and our bad choices to bail them out till we need help out of our foolishness.
the choices we make today have wide ranging effects.

1) What we eat can effect our health, wealth and happiness

2) Rather we spend wisely can determine our future financial stability.

3) Do we spend today and pay tomorrow? Choices can steal our freedom
They all bear responsibilities.

We Can Go through life saying I will wait till I'm sure before making a decision because I have paid such high prices in the past for decisions made and Indecision can cripple us from Going forward.

In essence we can give Our life away to others who are irresponsible
and never live Our dreams while taking responsibility for the effects of their
choices.

We can refuse to live a disciplined lifestyle and see the value of rules to live by
and throw away our tomorrows while resenting those who do things right or join them in making Good decisions and change our Lives for the better.

Our decisions are our own The effects effect all around us. So sometimes You are your brothers keeper. If we never share understanding ignorance will continue to rule. And will inevitably effect our lives and environment and economy.

Choices have their Prices and rewards in everyday life.

Choices have their prices and rewards in Our spiritual lives as well.
Our Choices Today Effect our tomorrows
Choose you this Day whom you will serve

TRULY LEADING A SOUL TO CHRIST

In today's world of Christianity many opinions of men and denominational teachings have been introduced to pervert the truth of Gods word. A soul seeking freedom from the darkness of the world hardly has an idea of where to turn. Why is this so?

The personal relationship with God that was meant to be has been traded
by many for religious opinions and beliefs that seek to lift men, and Institutions of men in power and fame and riches. The truth has been laid aside by the many. while lies have been embraced and men chase after fables rather then fight the good fight of faith and truth.

The Bible is the foundation of the Christian faith. and much of the Old Testament is Indeed A loose translation of the Jewish books of law, Psalms and
Proverbs. The reason they are loosely translated is that the Hebrew capacity for meaning is so much larger then the English language. That is why much study has gone into translating the word of God.

Without the agreement that the Bible is what we stand on, Christianity falls.
This is the main reason so many seek to discredit the validity of It's teachings. They will say anything to mislead the ignorant one. Or trip up the one who has remained A baby to long. Fix in your mind The bible is Gods word
given to man. It's depths of knowledge are deeper and richer every time It is read.

We are meant to be little Christs as Christians. Grown and matured in the things of God. separated from the world. Lights that shine in darkness. You call yourself A Christian? Can the world see the difference between yourself and them. Can you? If our light isn't shining brightly what business do we have trying to lead others from the top when we haven't grown up ourselves? We can only aid those who have climbed no further then we have spiritually to a large degree. The student Is incapable of teaching the Master His Trade. Though he is capable of reminding him of where he has been.

We must grow up In God and know him A little better every day.
We are not called to A church or an institution but to A God. All churches and institutions are not bad. If They are seeking to mature you in the knowledge of Gods will and his word to bring you into A personal relationship with God, they are on the right Track. If They are self serving of a reality not just by accusation then they are off track.

Read your Bibles and ask God for his Truth. Bow your head, Lay all opinions aside. Read Gods word with the knowledge here is Truth and I wish to understand it so I can know my God better. He will open the hungry hearts eyes and understanding as he reads. A little closer each day. We never arrive, We grow forever in the eyes of God. His wisdom takes hold in us and at some point his spirit will reveal itself in and to A person truly seeking him. Settle for no less then Truth and teaching that can stand up to Bible Truth. Except no less. Make no excuses, And grow into what we are called to be. Don't be so ready to attach yourself to denominational theology. If You are; you will most certainly place a barrier between yourself and Truth. Ask questions in sincerity . Ask God and he will provide the answers to open our understanding. We are called to be separate.

Until we have become what we are meant to be how can we lead anyone else into the Truth but by the example of one striving wholeheartedly to grow in the knowledge of God. Do you want to win souls to Christ? Then be what you are called to be and the light that shines from your relationship with God will create a hunger in those you come in contact with.
Let your life be your greatest witness to the truth of A living God who has made a way of escape for all who are blinded by the darkness of this world.

You say who are you. I say I am nobody. Just a heart hungry for gods truth. And A soul that has seen the light that shines in darkness, That releases the grasp darkness has on those who are taken by it. The Truth Shall set you free.
Its past time to grow in our relationships with God.

TRUST AND OBEY, GOD KNOWS BEST.

Gen 1;1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Gen 1;26-28 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Gen 2;7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul

Gen 2;15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

Gen 2;16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

Gen 2;17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die

Gen3;1-5
1 Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil

After God had created Man And breathed the breath of life into him. God placed man in the Garden he had created and gave man a purpose. To dress and Keep the Garden. God also Gave man dominion over every living thing in the earth sky and sea.

Man was given one thou shalt not. The serpent came to the woman and placed the question before her of what she was allowed to eat. The very first lie told by man was from eves lips. It was an embellishment she said Neither shall ye touch it. Those weren't Gods words. These words opened the door for
the serpents lie. Ye shall not surely die, but ye shall be as Gods.....

After all man had been Given, He refused to be satisfied. He chose to believe the words of the serpent over the words of God. that is why it is so important that we believe, God wants to be Chosen over all else, he doesn't force himself on man, nor is he evil.

When man disobeyed God. God separated man from the tree of life. Man
without life is a dying soul.

The beast of the field were created of dust. Yet not given the breath of life as
man was. They were not created in Gods image either.

Man wasn't meant to be a selfish beast that ruled over all the earth. Notice that
hereafter the beasts lived in fear of man.

The earth that man had chosen over God was cursed and man was made to till the soil. The cares of life were placed upon his shoulders.

Man fell because he was disobedient. Mans wickedness grew and finally the Lord said no more and flooded the earth.

God gave man another chance and in time man grew wicked again.

At one point man said lets build a tower to heaven. Seeking to get their without God. God destroyed it and the remains are there to this day. Men were scattered
and their tongues confused for they had stood against God in unity and thought to lift self above God

When Man had only one thou shalt not, He chose to disobey and chose the
tree of knowledge of Good and evil over obedience to God. Now God through Moses gave man many statutes and the 10 commandments. Man could not and cannot live them of himself either. Dust must be joined to life in order to find the Godly desires to overcome and be changed into what we were meant to be. This is a growing process. We are meant to know the one we claim to believe in.

We are called to become sons of God. God longs for those who seek him with their whole hearts. God wants those who choose Him and his spirit which Jesus Brought back to man through his sacrifice and the example of his selfless life.

Love was meant to rule the world. Not selfishness of institution or man but first to love God above all else, then to love one another. Not because we have to but because it is our very nature. The wickedness must be removed from our lives
by choice
. And God and his love will grow in us, And he will live through us. Self must be placed on the alter of God. We must be given to him in our entirety. It is then our individuality is embraced by God and he uses each person
in their unique talents. At this place we find we have a more beautiful life then was possible before. We are called to love one another. Greed and selfishness separate man from God
