This IS murder, plain and simple.
But they will tell it's was "God's will". Such a loving God.

I know a little boy he has never been able to walk. Two weeks ago he had two operations on his legs so he maybe able to walk for the first time in his life.
A friend of the boys mother said, "dont take him to the surgeon but bring him to our church and we shall pray for him to walk." The mother had common sense and is a nurse herself and was so upset she broke off the friendship and her son went to hospital to have the right thing done. Dont ask what I thought how I reacted!
This is absolutely true! These people are out and out dangerous!

That is insane.
If God were going to make him walk, he would have done it when this child was born.
Why can't people see through this?

Why can't people see through this? Because they're mentally ill. I've been saying this over a year....Well, I've been saying that for over 30 years actually.

What is "freedom of religion"?
Has this freedom been abused?
Does an individual person's freedom of religious choice in any way give a religion special freedoms? If so why?
Have you any examples of abuse of this freedom?
Peace

Atheist have their "religion" and it was yesterday I realized how much they have been persecuted. Hence the Rational Response Squad (RRS).
Freedom of religion is great IF you are a Christian. Personally I am sick and tired of people saying "God bless You". Churches staying at me over the horizons, Christians walking up my garden path, "God Bless America" and all the rest of the medieval crap!

Knots,
My point is that when this country was first established, it recognized the right of people to have and practice personal religious beliefs.
Why and when did this simple concept evolve into "freedom of religion" where a religion now receives special treatment?

It is not only murder but also blashpemy.
It is one thing to kill, but then to blame it on God is that much worse.

So that means you are as sick as those people who let their child die. Thanks for responding to that...
We must also remember SOC advised a young lady who had thoughts of death that it was OK to die since she was a Christian. The information he provides to us that sick and toxic faith is a reality. Notice he had nothing to specifically say about the actual event mentioned in the OP.

The medical community many times had to fight with the religious. They couldn't allow a child patient to die in their hospitals simply because their parents believed blood transfusions were wrong. Obviously sick faith permeates our society like a viral infection that does nothing but destroy. Why give any of this any respect or deference? Religion is a personal freedom but there are boundaries society itself must create to protect ourselves. Believe what you want as long as its not harmful physically, mentally, emotionally or intellectually. Well, that just might totally eradicate religion wouldn't it?

SOC,
And when does faith become ignorance. This couple obviously had strong faith, to the point where they probably believed that if a doctor cured their child, the doctor would be overturning god's will. They believed that god would save the child if it were in his plans to do so.
This is why blind faith is a sickness, not something christians or those of other faiths should boast about. In this case it caused a child to die needlessly.
Peace

So that means you are as sick as those people who let their child die. Thanks for responding to that... Well to my mind, it is one thing to pray for somebody. It is quite another to deny them medical attention because you feel like your prayers ought to work.
That is just malicous and stupid.
Obviously, not everyone who gets prayed for, gets cured. It just doesn't work that way.
If I get sick, by all means, feel tp pray, but please, don't turn away the doctor. Anyone who does, is a murderer in my book.

Lance There is a toxic mindset among those who believe in their god so much that nothing is greater so their faith says god will cure them. The problem is their delusion that all they ever need to do is pray. Seems like the bible supports this too.
Did you ever hear of Smith Wigglesworth? Here's a guy some fanatical Christians love. He believed God cured his hemorrhoids and that inspires him to become a faith healer. The nutters actually believe he raised his wife back from the dead not only once but several times. They believe he raised other people back from the dead too.
FYI. Hunt and Bev love Wigglesworth... Aint that a surprise?
