good aids in meditation. There is no silence Ok....so...your theory is rather contradictory then....
I can be TOTALLY relaxed listening to soft music, floating in the pool
I can clear my mind and feel refreshed!

No it isnt my theory. And no there is no contradiction. You can not be totally relaxed because you are still feeding the senses and not in a state of total awareness.
You are relaxed to as far as it goes. meditators go far beyond this and way beyond even the feeling of rapture.
