THALLUS (52 A.D.)
Wrote a history about the middle east from the time of the Trojan War to his own time. The work has been lost (just like most of the ancient writings were),and the only record we have of his writings is through Julius Africanus (AD 221).
His Reference to the Savior, forwarded by Julius Africanus: (there was only one Hebrew celebration referenced at the time of a Savior...that was Jesus! Read the N.T. Gospels.
This darkness Thallus, in the third book of his History, calls, as it appears to me without reason, an eclipse of the sun. For the Hebrews celebrate the passover on the 14th day according to the moon, and the passion of our Savior falls on the day before the passover; but an eclipse of the sun takes place only when the moon comes under the sun. And it cannot happen at any other time but in the interval between the first day of the new moon and the last of the old, that is, at their junction: how then should an eclipse occur when the moon is almost diametrically opposite the sun?

So you call " yourself" a Christian??? Yes I do, and I don't garner the same resentment hunt does because I don't belittle people the way he does.
You sure are putting people down and belittling them so maybe you need to look at yourself. Who? Name one? I have explained why most of the people on here don't like hunt. Openly and honestly.
hunt has degraded Christian and non-Christian alike, myself, Lois, and many others.

Never once have you made a post that is on the topic of the thread. All you do is troll and support Hunt in his hatred of those who think differently than he.
Maybe the Mod will give them a thread only they can talk to each other on when he's not talking to himself.

And that is so much worse then your saying so little other then agreeing by using only an icon to what certain people say? BTW-I havent said anything and I wont now because your a lady and I respect that but you should watch what you agree with when those comments made that you approved...contradict yourself.

You took us off topic to talk about hunt. We humored you and answered, openly and honestly. Now, you didn't like the response you got, so you are going to complain.
Perhaps, next time you should start your own thread, rather than shanghaiing an existing one and taking it off topic.

Now that your sick of hearing it knots you know how most everyone else on here besides your ever so sweet lady friend and your ever so brilliant man friend feels about your constant ridicule and tirades against Christians.
Anyway,you people may not agree with the meanings of hunt's posts and I may not myself but those are his beliefs.Nowhere in the laws of man or of God is it written that people must all be alike in how they worship God.
Way back when hunt4 joined this forum he told me I wasnt living the Christian way and why.
Did I put him on my list of the disrespectfull?
Nope,I told him how I live my Christian life is how I like it after doing it for over 50 years along with God and it works fine just between him and I.
Being a good Christian he accepted our differences with no further ado.We then became friends with differences.
Thats not hard to do if two people can communicate knowing those differences without disrespect.
Why is it that he and I can disagree with each other and still be respectfull to each other?
Because we are both correct to ourselves and God in how we believe in him.

Because he doesn't cal you a demon worshiper, a fool, state you live in darkness, or call you evil.
Despite our differences, Jankia, you have never said that against those who think differently than you and you need to realize that it is not right to do so nor is it right to defend someone who does.
