What about the tirades against those of us who think differently....or i that "different"? Because "tirades" made in defense are called trolling repeatedly by you two and not considered contributing.
Because he doesn't cal you a demon worshiper, a fool, state you live in darkness, or call you evil. Exactly...because he has respect for me,like I said we agree to disagree respectfully.I have many friends on here and we are very similar in our friendship.
Despite our differences, Jankia, you have never said that against those who think differently than you and you need to realize that it is not right to do so nor is it right to defend someone who does.
I do realize its not right to make false accusations about anyone and when theyre made about me I respond honestly to refute them.
Where have I defended Hunt and if what you say is true,why then do you defend who you do?

By your omissions, you have defended all that Hunt has said. And if someone falsely accuses me, I will defend myself too....just as you do.

Being a good Christian he accepted our differences with no further ado.We then became friends with differences.
Thats not hard to do if two people can communicate knowing those differences without disrespect.
Very good and quite so jankia. Tirades and such precipitate from a constant barrage from others that claim to be so enlightened that they say things like:Jankia you are a hypocrite and then expecting nothing to be said about it even when it is obviously not true. Well consider the source on that one, or as we say here: hit dog hollers loudest.
Knots you are still the same buffoon you always have been no matter how many knots you make yourself. Change your name all you like the drivel is still the same. Don't worry your cohorts will comfort you so it will all be better soon.

Hunts tirades, as you call them, were aimed at lies against God and His word that some group of nuts here want so desperately to substantiate. However you can say that God is evil all you like and it will always remain a lie. How one deals with such lies is a personal thing. Apparently hunt chooses to be adamant about his faith. There is nothing wrong with that.

God-man-bible-man is an imperfect chain of communication. Now comes the "Well, the bible authors didn't make the mistake, you made the mistake when you read it" Totally irrelevant. Both of the believers on each end of the bible are flawed humans. If one can make a mistake (and obviuosly they can) so can the the other.

I also believe the "mistakes and misunderstandings" on both ends...the writing and the reading. But...~sigh~.....such is life. I... as many here....will continue to stumble through this thing called life useing the means and ways that we find of most "comfort" "wise" "enhancing" "enlightening" "peaceful"...or whatever you wish to call it. I have spent many years attempting to pare down the written word concerning Christ to it's most pure translation. Good Luck with that. Lois.... 
Regardless..............I find my greatest joy in His words. There are few things I have absolute trust in..........I do not think it is required anyway........................

By your omissions, you have defended all that Hut has said. That would be incorrect because it would also mean that by my omissions to what all that anyone,not only hunt says, means that I defend them.

It would be a wondeful world if we didn't need anyone's "words".............written by anyone about anything..................and could just reach that spark deep inside that tells most of us to care for each other.

Failing often...in following that rule myself ..........I use, amoung other things...........translations of that one book called "The Bible". As with most things in this crazy world......I find things in it that make me scratch my head............I also find in it things that bring me great joy. As also with most things in this crazy world...........I take the good....that which I can apply in a positive manner....in my life. The rest I don't pay so much attention too................

Sins of omission are only slightly less difficult to not judge. I try to remain in the place that what other people think of me is none of my business.
On demons and devils, witches, ghouls, vampires, dragons and snakes, fairies and leprechans...few are familiar with the early churches role is creating a knowledge base concerning them.
With the destruction of the library first in Alexandria in 391, and subsequent destruction of collections of early scientific knowledge, history, and old wisdom elswhere, the church was able to become the defining point for what was then to be acceptable knowledge about gods, history, and science.
Bible history was substituted and church history was downplayed for the actions of the church that were contrarian to the words of Jesus. Looking carefully, we can find clues that remnants of the house of David were to be hunted down and destroyed. The Sanhedrin, the Romans, and the early church were all involved...why?...perhaps it was to replace the genetic lines that had supposedly been traceable all the way to Adam was now to be replaced by an apostolic succession within the new church hierarchy.
Celibacy was a rule adapted by the Roman church, even contrary to Pauls statement that clergy should be married so they would understand the needs of those they tended. Perhaps it kept the genetics of the royal line of David from surfacing in the church and undermining the authority the church derived from the apostolic succession and the Donation of Constantine.
Problem was, in the 600's or 700'sAD the Jews did have a kingdom in Septemia, part of France and Spain, ruled by men of the House of David...this was even acknowledged by the pope at the time, grudgingly. This kingdom was undermined by the church and overcome by the 1000's.
So much information was never offered us...and many still believe those that withheld this type of historical detail from us should be trusted without question yet today. It is understandable that up to now people didn't have access...now so much more is available and it changes our responsibility to each other and our children.

I have too much admiration to the topic and to those that are working hard in keeping the thread open, which by observation of many posts could easily have been, and be through email by default. I for one would hate to see the last page here come to an abrupt ending, when in reality it's just beginning on a new adventure journey. When a sudden storm breaks out, all can be lost and the book sinks downward to an endless abyss.
