9/11,economic instability,AIDS : God's punishment for accepting homosexuality and abortion. Jesus's return is eminant.
Science discovers breakthroughs is paleantology and archaeology,Bible's historical veracity questioned: False profits and bogus science perverting God's truth,Jesus's return is eminant.Watch and pray,pull your kids out of worldly public schools and either home or church skewel your kids so their innocent minds aren't polluted with filfth.
Churches begin re interpreting scriptures allegorically,instead of being at odds with the secular world,they become a help to it:......Jesus's return ever more eminant.False profits perverting scripture leading lost and dying people to hell.Watch and pray because it could be any day now before Jesus raptures the church and pulls the plug.
Folks,I'm not making any of this up,this is how they actually believe and teach.Now how can anyone look at this and see it as anything but toxic and dangerous?

I think he is having an emotional breakdown. His behavior is unstable. It might be from being too exposed to disturbing foreign thoughts.

That can be dangerous for them.It can cause a deeper psychosis like what happened to HAL 9000 in "2001:A Space Odyssey".

What happened to HAL was that he was givern confliciting orders. He was forbidden to tell the crew of their true mission, but he was also required by his basic progamming not to withold any information.
The only way to satisfy both orders was to kill the crew (they forgot to forbid this in his programming)

Yes,I remember,it was a classic scene when HAL was shut down and he's pleading with Dave Bowman not to.I was reacting to Hammer's post:

This actually brought some memories back to me.I grew up in the fundamentalist deep south and was taught that religion.When one educates themselves and sees the silliness of dogma and how outrageous it is to literally believe in the Bible,it can cause a mental quandary.Your common sense and logic tells you one thing,but your indoctrination tells you another.The Christians would have you believe that it's Satan putting thoughts in your head and so,you're urged not to think,but just read the Bible and pray.If your sense of logic is strong enough,one can overcome the indoctrination.If the indoctrination is as strong as the indoctrination,it can cause some emotional trauma,which is what Hammer is talking about I believe.

Thanks guys.I appreciate your humor.I was so hoping to hear from folks that actually believe this nonsense and come to the defense of irrationality. Logic hurts when it hits you square in the face,doesn't it?
