Why Cant we All Just Get Along? Odd that hunt should be asking such a question.
Since he posed the question, here's gambling that he will tolerate an honest answer.
I think it seems pretty obvious to most people on here that the answer to hunt's question is "hunt"
Actually, the question itself is erroneous. Many of us on here do get along, it is just that most don't seem to get along with hunt.
So why is that?
Well, if you try to tell him he whines that he is being attacked.  (Which does nothing to make anyone like him any better.)
This is really not so mean a place. These are actually pretty good people. All you have to do is not act like a jerk.
I get along fine with many non-Christian people on here who vehemently disagree with me.
I also get along fine with SOC. That's because SOC is NOT a tag-along-floozy. He is not going to turn on me just because he is friends with hunt. It is a pretty weak personality that cannot establish there own friends and enemies, but has to glum on to someone else's
So if the quesiton is, "Why don't they like hunt?" Lets see if we can produce an answer.
1. Well, first off it is condescension. hunt feels the need to denounce and disrespect anyone who disagrees with him. When he does that, most people are going to respond in kind. Even if they don't at first, hunt will go on and on, until they get tired of it and tempatation gets the better of them.
2. hunt likes to establish himself as God's truth teller, and anyone who doesn't like him or opposes him is being evil. That is not so, and to assert that is a blashpemy. hunt, if people don't like you (and many don't) or disagree with you, that doesn't necessarily mean they reject God. Some might also reject God, but one has nothing to do with the other. Christians and non-Christians alike are able to to spot a jerk and a phony from a mile off.
Early on, hunt announced to the group that I "don't know God"
hunt, you think you are continously under attack, but actually the reverse is true. If you look at all those posts you of mine you dug up, you will see that I tried very hard to restrict myself to only complain about your bad behavoir, and not the type of person that you are. You're not being attacked, your being cajouled.
Here is the thing, hunt. People. as a rule, are actually very forgiving. I know, I know, people always love to say "once you make me mad, that's it...", but most folks are actually better than they claim and forgive/forget pretty fast.
The moment you quit kicking them in the leg, it is usually pretty much over with.
Your problem is, you don't know when to quit kicking. If you really want people to like you better, you are going to have to come off your high horse.
Even when you think you are reaching out, you come of sounding like you are almost expecting some sort of an apology from the people you have been mistreating.
If you really want to get along, don't do a big apology, don't ask for an apology, just quit with the condescending behavoir.
Anyhow, that is why "we all" can't get along...or why we all can't get along with hunt.
It's all about pride and arrogance.
That's the view from here.

Many of your posts invite or justify other religions
I believe their is but one way to God and that is
through Jesus Christ our lord.
I feel if one wishes to wear the label of christian then at least
one can follow Gods word without trying to throw half of it away and rewriite the other half. Your hatred for me has shown itself in many of your posts.
If you dont like my posts fine. I will speek the Truth as I have found it according to the word of God. If athiest and buddhist take offense It doesnt suprise me.
When one calls themselves Christian and takes offense and
wants to toss portions of the Bible away I must ask Do you understand the
roots of Christianity. How can one believe in a God they do not truly Know?
Your hatred is your own. I will Continue to speak the truth according to Gods word.
There can be peace or your attacks can continue.

Well, I wanted to sum it all up in one post, and have it easily accessible, so instead of wasting time with you, I could just quote.

No it doesnt. One does not have to sacrifice ones own beliefs to find truth in anothers belief. Love, compassion and wisdom is found in all walks of life and isnt the monopoly of Christianity.

Again you judge when you have no ability to judge another mans heart or mind. Your narrow mindedness has blinded you to the truth of the Bible.
How can one believe in a God they do not truly Know?
In truth God is only recognized by what is written and a person is led to believe. In truth no one knows if God truly exists. YOU can not know God and if anyone reads your writings and compare them to the writings of the Bible then sadly, you are truly amiss on a great deal of details on God.

YOUR perception of what Lance feels is emanating from your own fear, ignorance and hate. No other place. I personally have never seen any hate from Lance for anyone.
What you perceive as attacks is the consequences of your own actions and nothing else. If you require peace then listen with the two ears your God gave you and see with the two eyes your God gave you and say little with the one mouth your God gave you
If you wish peace then act accordingly that the consequences of your actions bring peace.

This isnt about "they",its about you Lance,and will you accept an answer you dont approve of or only those that follow your own line of thinking?

We are both Christains but are different.I dont dislike hunt for that he doesnt me.
