There is man at one of my fuel stops in Wyoming who Fuels your truck checks oil and washes your windows when you fuel. I have been tipping this man for 5 years for doing this. Last year I missed him for several months and when I did see him again it was early winter. He was very thin and he came up to my truck as I began fueling and began telling me his story. He was scared.
He had been found with Prostate Cancer. It was very advanced. His prostate was swollen and they had given him all the radiation safe to give with no result. He was walking painfully and said they had done some sort of surgery up high inside his leg and it wasn't healing. As I said he was scared.
Without a thought my hand fell on his shoulder and as I said a simple little prayer the love and compassion flowed and Gods spirit was very strong. It took all of 5 seconds. I looked up and tears were in his eyes and he thanked me.
When God does something it has nothing to do with man other then obedience
and being in that place with him he can use you. But the problem is so many men lift themselves up and say look what God did through me. The next thing you know they are having healing meetings and God doesn't show up due to man taking credit for things of God. If a man doesn't lift himself up then other people
try to do it. Humility is the place God does his best work from and love and compassion are the spirit present. Self should never be elevated in Gods use of men .
Almost five months went by and all through last winter I didn't see the man.
Last month I pulled into the truck stop and as I was walking in talking on the phone
He stood before me, a changed man! He looked to have gained 30-40 pounds.
he waited for me to finish on the phone and grabbed my hand and said I have to thank you! Your prayer healed me. With tears in his eyes he held onto my hand and told me how his leg healed completely. How the prostate cancer disappeared all the way to a count of 1. He was a walking dead man the last time I saw him. now he is a picture of health strength and vitality.
I run across him twice more each time he would grasp my hand and say thank you. Finally I stopped him and said don't thank me. Thank God. God is the healer. He said thank God then and waved his hand to the sky and then smiled and said , And thank you too.  . I just shook my head and smiled from the heart and said God bless you and went on my way.
As I drove away that little voice in my heart said. See sometimes you can make a difference.  .
God is very real and very alive. And all that he has done before he can do today.
If we will only believe and obey. We are meant to share our testimony of that that the lord has done in our lives.

Anything that pleases the imagination when it make you feel good. Well, I am just trying to sort out plausible with im-plausible.
I enjoy such stories too but if god works that way then people just don't have minds of their own. I think the reverse is true. The absence of abundant miracles leaves room for doubt.
Too many people really don't have minds of their own but is that proof of god? There is no inequivocable prrof of God that will satisfy everyone. What is proof for some, is inadequate for others.

To admit one needs to pray for answers or anything means they have no answer and ceased looking for one.
Its pretty stupid for someone to say they only believes themselves but healthy people do believe in themselves. They also believe in others who are credible and show integrity.
As I posted before, there are too many who lack a mind but lacking a mind is an advantage to believing in fairytales. Lacking a mind also means you can't think for yourself and must be guided like any mentally challenged person.

Its pretty stupid for someone to say they only believes themselves but healthy people do believe in themselves. They also believe in others who are credible and show integrity. That is a good point. the credibility of the person telling the story is a big factor.

you're just a simple minded drone. Perhaps you are really that willfully ignorant (stupid) to believe you did magic on someone else who was likely just as ignorant as you and soc.
Your prayers would be utter failures to anyone who has lost a limb, an organ, any eye, or was born with mental retardation, or born with any other incurable disease.

First off it wasn't my prayer. God brought the man to me. God placed my hand on his shoulder and He put the words ,love and compasion in my spirit. I only had to obey.
I could pray for a hundred on my own without the leading of Gods spirit and
see no result. But every time Gods spirit leads me to pray for someone I know the prayer has been answered.
God can heal anyone he chooses of anything he wants to. Faith and Obedience and a Recognition of the leading of Gods spirit is required. Pride has no place in the things of God. Love Conquers all

Well, that is what I was getting at with the credibility thing.
hunt obviously has a problem in that area. Heaping on more and more new and fantastic stories is not going to help his credibility.

Second. Every word I spoke was truth.
The devil will always try to discredit that which is true and of God.
He will use every vessel that is readilly available to him to do so as well.
I have Shared a true blessing from God, I pray Gods children see the truth of it.
I would expect no less then the response I have recieved from some of you.

Sail, You are very disrespectful of all that is of God.
Have a care that you don't find yourself in need of prayer.
The bible says By his stripes we ARE healed.
What is growing is Soc's faith and trust in God.
Untill now he has been saying God is healing me.
And he has been right.God has been healing my
life in the same way as I grow in him. We are
reaching a place where we are aquiring the faith
to say God has healed me. and our steps will
be the witness of it. I am proud to call Soc my brother!
We serve the same God and we love him.
