You know I don't hold with your buddhist beliefs, knots. I know lots of good people that have really bad things happen to them. I have trouble thinking that little children with cancer have done anything to cause that, and I DON'T believe in reincarnation, what a cruel thing that would be.

As for reincarnation being cruel...I would rather have another chance to get things right and grow, than your belief system that you burn and suffer for eternity.

There is nothing in the cosmos that isnt without causation.
Children with cancer... why? Whats the cause of cancers? Whats the cause of children? Whats the cause of medical inability to have a cure at this time?
NO GOD!!!! NO GOD HAS EVER HELPED MAN DO A DARN THING!
Since mans existence he has developed through trial and error and continues to do so. No God has helped! No God will find the cure for cancer! Just man and his developing abilities through the natural causes of the cosmos.

What does faith have to do with love and compassion.
I can completely love without having "faith" that love will be return.
I can show compassion without having any "faith" in any type of deity.
Love come from within me, not from without.

At least we know, this is the only chance we have to get things right, and one is enough, I still think reincarnation is horrendously cruel.

Other words..... "causes and consequences." Even for your "eternal soul." You are not and never will be a spiritual being with your attitude. It is quite impossible. Only through recognising you are responsible for your existences with all its consequences and then you do something about heading into the direction of spiritual development will you succeed in truth of your being.
Thus far, you are an old record stuck in a groove with the same old clap trap.... contradictions, false hopes and promises, ignorant in mind and unaware of truths.

You don't understand knots. All Christians, all people sin. That is WHY Jesus came. We are not under the laws of sin and death, but under grace. As long as we are in the flesh, we will be in sin.
There is a difference between suffering the consequences of our actions and everything having a cause and effect. Like I said, small babies and children that are ill could have done nothing wrong.

Oh no, no NO!!! That is not what christians believe!!!! Supposidly you are ALL born into sin. What is the difference to you if the child is ill or healthy? That because one is suffering it just gets a free ticket?

I dont think you understand much on this subject. EVERYTHING DOES HAVE CAUSES AND CONSEQUENCES. Which can result in suffering the consequences of our actions or not. Nothing has to be sufferance's. Results of our actions can be great joy, love, compassion, equanimity, wisdom.

Who said they did anything wrong in this area of their live? Doesnt detract from the fact they are ill due to causes and consequences. How many times were you the cause for your childrens childhood sicknesses? Oh dont tell me they had none!
