Aren't we all god ? Thats the theodicean mystery. That is how good and evil is resolved by the realization we were never separated. Jesus said I and the father are one. That means there is no separation and you and all being created in image and likeness of God means just that.
Its that same realization that ends the cycle of birth, death and re-birth. No more reincarnation because you're done.

Sin separated man from God. Jesus is the only one who can bring you back into that oneness. That is why He came.

Jesus is a myth and no one needs that particular myth. Most don't. The theodicean mystery doesn't require Jesus at all and is the realization there was never any separation. Jesus serves as an example but there were many examples in the world. Jesus was only one of them if he existed. But he exists in the myth and thats all that matters to those seeking lessons and the message of the myth. Thats what myths are for.

These are two VERY different forms of belief. One sees an immediate "final state", simplistic answer to life and the hereafter. The other, sees a more complex system of karma ,learning and continuous change.

I had a nightmare the night I was at the beach in Fla.
I dreamed I was walking down the beach at night, when all of a sudden, I found myself surrounded by campus crusaders!
A thousand mini-wacky's all screaming........
repent ! repent !
The end is near !
as I looked towards the water I saw a 30' tidal wave approaching the beach !
I was then taken in my dream to a few years later........
the same 1000 people,
all reincarnated into mini-hunts!
when I woke, the sheets were soaked from sweat, my heart was racing, and I had a look of terror in my face.........
if I am reincarnated, I want to come back as a single cell organism!
mebbe then I can understand the bible from their POV!

Gee, all the books I have ever read about reincarnation has God in it. What is this silly claim about there being no God if you believe in reincarnation? Sounds to me like someone enjoys stirring the pot. Looks to me like Bevrice likes to make wild statements to get people squabbling and fighting. Isn't that what a troll is?
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (Redirected from Internet troll) Jump to: navigation, search "Do not feed the trolls" and its abbreviation DNFTT redirects here. For the Wikipedia essay, see "What is a troll?"
An Internet troll, or simply troll in Internet slang, is someone who posts controversial and usually irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum or chat room, with the intention of baiting other users into an emotional response[1] or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion.[2]
[edit] Etymology The contemporary use of the term first appeared on Usenet groups in the late 1980s. It is thought to be a truncation of the phrase trolling for suckers, itself derived from the fishing technique known as trolling.[3] The word likely gained currency because of its apt second meaning, drawn from the trolls portrayed in Scandinavian folklore and children's tales; they are often ugly, obnoxious creatures bent on mischief and wickedness.

Just where did the Buddha say anything at all about reincarnation and you cannot hold the Buddhas feet to the fire of Buddhism since he was not a Buddhist!!!!
All Religions of the world are Institutions that squabble and not one of them are the source of the original living philosophy. Lao Tzu, Jesus and the Buddha were all turned into Gods After Death by Institutions, something that each one warned us about!
And just what is being reincarnated? Your soul, spirit, Chi or your mortal being and if reincarnation occurs as energy what limits it to human kind, why not a frog, snake, tree?

My understanding is ALL things have life force. And they all have incarnations.
