The summertime has always been accompanied by spiritual rest + refreshment for me. Does anyone else find spiritual comfort + summertime walk hand-in-hand??
Im sat here, in the eye of a hurricane - Dolly.
The reality of nature is pure in any state. When you are not in touch with that and obviously you are not then you are not much in touch with anything.
We become aware best of our truest reality when effected the most. Being in a nice summery comfort zone doesnt teach much.

I was hoping that you were OK in that hurricane.
It's good to see you posting so we know you are safe.

I was worried about you when I heard it was in Brownsville.
I sent you some "safe" thoughts.

Does anyone else find spiritual comfort + summertime walk hand-in-hand?? Certainly...everytime I'm sitting in my boat watching the bass attack the surface of the lake during the mayfly hatch or in watching a pheasant's nest of eggs hatch and watching the same chicks grow all summer until they are old enough to leave the hen and get out on there own.

You know if we just saw once the things that God does in nature and life everyday, they would all be miracles.

The fact that humans can see the things God has done for us is a miracle in itself Bev.

So everything is a miracle?
You two are so delusional that you refuse to accept the real world.

Jankia,
That said by the troll who doesnt dare say anything on topic. You, SOC and Bev all made posts commenting on miracles, which made "miracles" very much the topic of this thread.
Peace

How many times must we hear grumbling from people who are unfamiliar with genuine joy???
(Grumbling from a man who tries to pass himself off as a usually sincerely-happy man. *slowly shakes head in disbelief*)
Another example of a truly peace-filled heart. Truly a paragon of virtue.

As challenging as this might be for you to comprehend sir, the intention of this thread was to escort some positive thoughts into this forum. But as is your wont, (or habit); your natural bent towards conflict is trying to change all that.

SOC,
I am a truly happy and contented individual. You can either accept that happiness can exist without a delusional god to provide that happiness, or accept it for what it is ..... a human emotion.
You cannot even enjoy happiness that you generate without attributing it to your god. Why would your god have created a creature that has no control of their own emotions? Why do you need an invisible friend to enjoy life on this beautiful planet?
You said:How many times must we hear grumbling from people who are unfamiliar with genuine joy??? Who is it that refuses to acknowledge that joy is a human virtue that does not require an invisible god to provide.
You are in a dogma box which provides you with delisions that for some reason you take joy in. There is much more joy to experience outside the dogma box that is real and healthy.
Peace

The fact that humans can see the things God has done for us is a miracle in itself Bev. I too believe having an imagination is a miracle. Ain't that something? You can imagine all sorts of things. The mind is a wonderful thing isn't it?

You know if we just saw once the things that God does in nature and life everyday, they would all be miracles. In a way here, I kind of agree. The natural world is in and of itself miraculous when you look at the science behind how it works. The photosynthesis process of plants, the way the cycle of the moon and tides work, the complexity of a single cell. These things show me that there is no need for belief in anything "supernatural". Why do people need to hear others babble in jibberish tongues or get healed of a malady when a preacher shakes them and shouts ,"Heal!"?? The natural world and the scientific rules that guide it are miraculous enough, why convolute it with myths and superstitions?
