Is it hate, bitterness, envy---I don't know. I do know that I spent a lot of time going to school and worked very hard. My only goal was to help others. I never charged a penny for any counseling I did. I didn't go to school for me, but for others. The Lord made it possible. I paid every penny of it out of my own pocket.
I did help lots of people, but that was through the Lord. If that is a crime, then, I guess I am guilty, but call me guilty for caring about other people, because I do care.
I am sorry for these people, they seem to get their significance and happiness from things like this, that is so sad. I am truly sorry for them. I will be there for anyone of them who ever needs me. I truly do forgive them.
I think maybe I can answer. It seems an abvious answer to me. It is because of the way she treats people.
The thing is, when someone constantly degrades and condescends most of the people around them, they aren't going to be liked it.
She frequently says "I don't care what they think of me" So she reaps what she sows.
Add to that, pumping themselves up as being the kind, wonderful, long suffering martyr, and is gets pretty annoying.
Throw some divine justification into the mix and it starts to get pretty hard to swallow.
Now judge anyone who objects and say they are condemned to hell, a false Christian, or a heathen, or worse and people will (undestandably) get a little angry.
Now top it of all of with using a rubber stamped diploma-mill certificate to present yourself as a licensed psychologist (a title that is restricted by law to people who have earned it)
and...
OF COURSE the kettle is going to blow.
bev has treated most of the people on here so horribly, of course they are hungry to see some or her lies exposed.
If she hadn't behaved like such an ass, they wouldn't care if she was proclaiming to be an MD.
So there you go.
That is my answer to "I wonder what drives people like this?" it is having gotten a belly full of totally assinine and unacceptable behavoir.

One thing, for SURE, lance, it is sure not the Lord Jesus, but maybe since you have become a follower of Spong, you don't believe in Jesus anymore, either.
You are exhibiting just what I wrote of Lance, and so is sail.

No Bev you give YOUR version of the truth and the word distorted to fit your agenda  and you browbeat others and threaten them with damnation at every turn.. you drive away people with your constant telling them they are not Christian enough etc...Im sure that Christ would not appreciate you driving people away from his teachings like you do.. Im not talking about sheeple Bev the followers that would follow Barney the big purple dinosaur if there were nothing else to follow .. Im talking about those who exercise their free will.. who think before they act...the ones who when presented with an option will view ALL sides before making their choice..and when you tell them they are going to hell right from the get go .. basically figure .. WTF do I need that for??? I would surely rather follow a LOVING GOD than one who will condemn me before hand... your METHODS are driving people away BEV plain and simple... it is NOT the dark ages where people are fooled by smoke and mirrors and cowed by fire and brimstone.. they HAVE the intelligence to see thru the BS

OIf course I know you cannot really condemn anyone, but you do look silly when you try

So, lance, you are proving your faith and your Christianity in all this stuff you are posting. You are just trying to justify, that is okay, go ahead, I am out of this one, too. I only tried to help you. You got mad and starting doing all kinds of posts in anger, but that is okay, too. I don't think I called you a false Christian, if I did, please show me, and I will apologize to you, I shouldn't have done that.
Now, IF you follow Spong stuff, you WILL be a false Christian, lance.

Hmmm, why did I not expect you to like the word posted? Why did I not expect all the non Christians to hate the posting of the word?

For right now, I am just going to post the word in response to yall's stuff, that is what I am here for anyway. It is what I believe, it is my viewpoint, covers it all.
