He spoke from the cross, "Father forgive them for they know not what they do." sp
These lyrics speak of His love for Peter, even after Peter had denied Him three times.

So, all you guys can continue to judge us all, you want, you know, we HAVE forgiveness from our Lord and our God. Do you think YOUR judgements matter to us.
THIS is what LOVE is all about. THIS is what GRACE is all about. THIS is what FORGIVENESS is all about. Until you know HIM, you can never know this, and have absolutely no idea of what any of those are.

This was an attempt to start a thread to try to explain the Lords forgiveness and grace to you who are having a hard time understanding. Too bad, you just want to sling mud and have no decent discussions.

You see, that is why HE died for you, HE fulfilled, satisfied the law, so you would no longer be under those laws of sin and death, for He knew that man could not be saved by them, that all men are in sin and will sin. God became flesh in Jesus and because Jesus lived in the flesh, He knows our sins and our weaknesses and our temptations, He liveth ever to intercede for us. He overcame all of those for us, so that we could have HIS name, HIS righteousness, knotts.
That is an awesome thing to consider, knotts. You see, you talk of us being afraid, we have nothing to fear, we have the Lord, we are secure in His love and what He did for us, does for us daily.
You see, we sin, and we go to God for forgiveness. God forgives us and puts that sin as far away from Him as the East is from the West. So, we fall, or fail, and we go back and pray and tell God that we are sorry, we did it again. He simply says, I don't remember your ever doing that, and forgives us again. For we are flesh, we do fail, we do fall, we are tempted and give into temptaions. There is no sin greater than His love. We are saved, safe, and secure, and don't have to carry around guilt.
That doesn't mean we don't try, for because we love Him so much and because He loves us so much, we earnestly desire to do what is right and acceptable to Him. We don't like to do wrong, we HATE it, but we do sometimes. Everyone does, if they are honest with themselves.

You see, we sin, and we go to God for forgiveness. God forgives us and puts that sin as far away from Him as the East is from the West. In that case, I'm afraid your "God" would fail a parenting skills class. What a stupid way to teach the lesson of not repeating mistakes or "sins" if one's automatically forgiven each time and let off the hook with no sense of remorse. Ick.

Yes, but sin, we reap what we sow, that is a sure thing. So, if I do something to someone to hurt them, it is going to come back to me, and generally it comes back full force, worse than I sent it out. That is one of God's laws as sure as the Sun coming up in the morning and going down at night.
Now, on the other hand, we love Him so much and He loves us so much that we don't want to sin and do the wrong things.
There is also this thing inside us called the Holy Spirit, and when we do wrong, He gets on our case until we repent.
If we don't repent, then God will correct us and discipline us. Whom God loves, He disciplines. I don't mind when He fusses at me, and He does sometimes, it just means He loves me.
It is like, when I was pregnant years ago, I had this doctor. Everyone hated him because he fussed at them because of any extra weight gain. I never was one to put on much weight during pregnancy, usually only about twenty five pounds, but he would also fuss about little things. You know, I loved that doctor, because I knew he cared.

3) More Murder Rape and Pillage (Deuteronomy 20:10-14)
As you approach a town to attack it, first offer its people terms for peace. If they accept your terms and open the gates to you, then all the people inside will serve you in forced labor. But if they refuse to make peace and prepare to fight, you must attack the town. When the LORD your God hands it over to you, kill every man in the town. But you may keep for yourselves all the women, children, livestock, and other plunder. You may enjoy the spoils of your enemies that the LORD your God has given you.
What kind of God approves of murder, rape, and slavery?
4) Laws of Rape (Deuteronomy 22:28-29 NLT)
If a man is caught in the act of raping a young woman who is not engaged, he must pay fifty pieces of silver to her father. Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he will never be allowed to divorce her.
What kind of lunatic would make a rape victim marry her attacker? Answer: God.
5) Death to the Rape Victim (Deuteronomy 22:23-24 NAB)
If within the city a man comes upon a maiden who is betrothed, and has relations with her, you shall bring them both out of the gate of the city and there stone them to death: the girl because she did not cry out for help though she was in the city, and the man because he violated his neighbors wife.
It is clear that God doesn't give a damn about the rape victim. He is only concerned about the violation of another mans "property".
6) David's Punishment - Polygamy, Rape, Baby Killing, and God's "Forgiveness" (2 Samuel 12:11-14 NAB)
Thus says the Lord: 'I will bring evil upon you out of your own house. I will take your wives [plural] while you live to see it, and will give them to your neighbor. He shall lie with your wives in broad daylight. You have done this deed in secret, but I will bring it about in the presence of all Israel, and with the sun looking down.'
Then David said to Nathan, "I have sinned against the Lord." Nathan answered David: "The Lord on his part has forgiven your sin: you shall not die. But since you have utterly spurned the Lord by this deed, the child born to you must surely die." [The child dies seven days later.]
This has got to be one of the sickest quotes of the Bible. God himself brings the completely innocent rape victims to the rapist. What kind of pathetic loser would do something so evil? And then he kills a child! This is sick, really sick!

Got a big question here.. if your GOD is all forgiving etc.. why all the killing?? Telling people they must put others to death telling them to violate a commandment?? kinda contradictory teachings huh?? 
Thous shalt not kill..
UNLESS they dont believe as you do ..or they are raped .. or they do whatever you dont like then its OKIES to kill em

Eventually, I realized my helplessness and began to confess the problem to various elders and pastors that I knew, asking for help and prayer. It was a big surprise to discover that most of them had the same problem, and none of them had any answers!

The Ripples of Scandal
When any Christian of great influence proves to be human, there is always a huge effect on the Body. But should there be? The degree to which we are shocked and affected by such events shows how weak our faith is and how little we know about the true Gospel.

Testimony 1 - Don's Story
Until the early Eighties I was addicted to pornography. I would confess my sin to God every time I yielded to it. Eventually, I realized my helplessness and began to confess the problem to various elders and pastors that I knew, asking for help and prayer. It was a big surprise to discover that most of them had the same problem, and none of them had any answers!
Eventually, I found a counseling/prayer center that spoke the real Gospel to me. They told me that my heavenly Father already accepted me and loved me-- sin and all. I was instantly freed from the addiction - permanently. I knew I was loved and accepted by my Father no matter what. The fear of rejection and judgment that gave the addiction its power and control was gone. He loves me! Unconditionally!"
The real gospel, see, this is what I have been trying to tell you about the baptism of the Holy Spirit, then you have the REAL truth.
This is the effect that guilt can have on your life. It is like quicksand, the more you struggle the deeper you sink.

We know you have serious mental problems already, the hallucinations,etc and we now know you have this problem too. Its actually one of the symptoms of bipolar disorder but you wouldn't know that. Someone trained in mental health would. So its time to a psychiatrist and a psychologist.
