This post is not about the problem folk who think, just because they say "I'm a Christian" they think it gives them a golden ticket to mistreat other people.
This post is not to restate that they do not have the authority to say "if you do this, or you think that, you are going to hell" By now, we all know enough about the Christian religion to be aware that it is that only God judges, and anyone else who tries it is commiting blashpemy.
OK, we all know that those people are like to never change. bev is probably always going to be bev, insulting everyone, speaking her blasphemy, and so on. She is so full of herself, and to weak intellectually, that she will probably never ever snap out of it.
Most people despise her on here, and I suspect, in real life, Christian and non-Christian alike.
This post is about the ones behind the scenes helping to make her the monster that she is.
There will be a handful of weak knee'd suck-ups that will tell her "Bev, you are doing the right thing, they don't like you cause you are so righteous" That is a lie. A very damaging one.
To my mind, those folk are more guilty than the actual culprit. By giving someone like bev a point of vindication, they are fanning the fire, and helping to close any door on any sort of improvement.
So who pays the price for this? The answer is all of us, but some more than others.
Non-Christains pay it from being put off from something that is actually quite wonderful.
Christains pay for being embarrassed for the unseemly behavoir of someone claiming to be one of their own.
The person who pays the bigest price is bev. It is a stressful thing to be so unversally despised. Sometimes I read her stuff and feel a bit sorry for her. I really do. It isn't long, though, before those sympathies are drowned out by the horrible and outrageous stuff that comes out of her mouth.
So bev is bev, and you might as well ask a fish not to swim or a bird not to fly.
My point is that, often overlooked, is the guilt of someone who sees her in self destruct mode, but is intent on keeping her headed in that direction.
It is one thing to smooze somebody to gain favor. It is another to smooze somebody to keep them on the bad path.
Ever been to a dance, and see someone tell somebody else "Get back out there and dance some more, you're doing great" and the whole purpose is so the fool can go out and look ridiculous while everyone else laughs.
That is a shameful enterprise and speaks as badly of the one egging them on as the fool who is showing their ass.
That is the view from here.

You should never start a thread to attack someone, and you do that all the time, it gets old, lance. I am going to take your post, one thought at a time, and I am sorry, you probably WON'T like what I have to say.

Who is the one who has been coming at me and judging me for the toy stuff, lance? I am not going to judge you for living with a woman you are not married to, which is explicitly forbidden in the Bible, it is called fornication, lance.

I think the only ones who don't like me are the ones who are not truly Christians. I love people, people love me, I haven't a single enemy in the world in real life, lance. So, again you pronounce judgements and speak of things you don't know about. However, Christianity is NOT a popularity contest, you know. Jesus said they hated Him first, you know. Think about that one lance, when the atheists and unbeliever pat you on the back and call you a Christian, you should be very afraid and check your walk.

This is ridiculous, lance. Because they know they truth, and you haven't the slightest inkling? You refute Bible truths, verses, follow someone like Spong. Now who is doing damage?

Real Christians are not that shallow, Lance. We know we have one central belief, Jesus, we also know that we all have different callings, different ministries, we don't judge each other for how they are called, as long as they bring it forth in truth.

You see, YOU embarass me with the stuff you post, with your vengeful attitude, your judging and not judging yourself first, for that is the key to judging, if we judge ourselves first, we will not be found guilty. You embarass me and make me worry about you when you claim to be a Christian and endorse a man who doesn't believe that Jesus is the Son of God, or died for you, or rose from the dead and that God doesn't answer prayers. Says that God just created the earth and then abandoned it. He is a theist, that is what they believe, a man who LOBBIED for ABORTION, lance. So come off your high horse and get into the word.
I am praying for you, I DO care about you. I DO worry about you ALL THE TIME, Lance. Jesus doesn't say get out there and sin some more, you are doing good.

I can't speak FOR Him, but HE can speak through me. He can do that with all Christians

We can notice she has no friends, no family around her, they all likely avoid her except for holidays. She has no place to go. No social life but her toys. For all we know she's being locked up in an attic and feed food under the door. We do know she's severely mentally ill but that doesn't remove total responsibly for her actions. She's aware of what she says but she's in total denial of its repercussions and meaning. She's retarded in a number of ways.

And the funny thing is Lance's profile says he is married, more than once. What you don't understand is that nothing gets through to Bev except through that voice in her head. I guess the holy spirit just missed reading Lance's profile and assumed that he was living out of wedlock.
So much for the voices Bev claims she hears.

I will add this, katt and angel are both good Christians, and everyone knows it. they are called to be peacemakers.
Now, lance, if these people in here who are atheists, buddhists, or whatever, pat you on the back. That means you are not stirring them, not making them think, you don't bother them at all, you are harmless and have nothing that they want. You are not threat to them or to what they believe, and you are not going to change them.
If you present the word, Bible, Bible truths, wow, just watch them begin to squirm and dislike you because you are making them think and they don't like that spirit in there saying, "You know, they could be right. What if I am missing it?"
You see, if you read your Bible, you will find that Paul was no wishy washy Christian, and he laid it on the line, too. Think about John the Baptist, lance. Think about all the prophets of the Old Testament. Now, come on, do right by yourself and the Lord and get strong and bold in Him, that is what we are called to be, you know.
You know what worries me most about you, and I DO care about you lance, is the Bible says, "My children perish from lack of knowledge"
When I see you followoing spong stuff, I see you selling your very soul to the devil, I see you perishing, lance, and I DO care, that is why I admonish you. If I didn't care, I wouldn't even BOTHER, you are too much of a pain to deal with otherwise, sorry, but true.

Yeah, guys the truth hurts, and I DO make you think. All your other stuff in here, I didn't even read it, it will be the same old, same old, just stuff from your hearts, showing where your hearts and your paths are. I DO care about you. Everyone of you. I have a heart for each of you, or I would run out of here like mad. The Lord cares about everyone of you or He would let me leave this place. That would be my fondest wish, because I hate feeling like I have been fed to the vultures. He sees hope for each of and wants not a one of you to wind up in Hell. I don't want a single one of you to go there. Believe me, guys, Hell is real. God is real. God doesn't change, He is giving you a choice but He will do what He said He would.
That is why it is so imperative that I be here for you all, praying for you all, planting the word and seeds of truth. And that is ALL Christians are called to do, lance, we can't convert people, so don't try, it wouldn't be real and it wouldn't last. We have to plant the seeds and let the Spirit do the work.
Lance, this is why you are to be bold in the Lord, but make sure you are planting truth and the word.
Now, that the truth will cut like a sword and rend asunder.
No one knows who will be here tomorrow on this earth and who won't, when you go to face the Lord, I want you to be able to enter the kingdom.
Now, if that is a sin, if that is hate, if that is not love, I don't know what is.
