"God is a principle which exists by virtue of its own intrinsically, and operates spontaneously without self-manifestation.
"He who knows what God is, and what Man is, has attained. Knowing what God is, he knows that he himself proceeded therefrom. Knowing what Man is, he rests in the knowledge of the known, waiting for the knowledge of the unknown.
"The ultimate end is God. He is manifested in the laws of nature. He is the hidden spring. At the beginning of all things, He was." These words were written 1,200 BCE in China and the NT was not even written until 400 years or longer after Jesus supposedly died. There are passages like this dating back to 3,000 BCE.No one really knows when he died or for that matter where or when he was born.
There are thousands of passages like this found in Chinese documents and I assume there are as many if not more to be found in India and other countries pre dating Christianity.
To me the whole construct of Christianity can be said in three words, "Johnny Come Lately" in other words a copycat religion....
