Since Christians are delusional and the Muslims are delusional then why not the Jews too? After all, they all worship the same tribal desert god of death. This god is fabricated from Sumerian myth. Abraham is believed to be from Ur. It is from the Jews that Christians get their creation myth stories. The six day creation where God picks up some mud from the ground and molds it into a man called Adam just like a kid with Playdoh. He then blows some smoke up his butt giving him life. Adam gets up and looks around then says to God where are the babes? God puts him to sleep, does some surgery and Adam wakes up next to Eve. Why couldn't God just pick up some more mud? Some years later God tells a man named Abraham to kill his son. Yup, the Jews invented this insane human sacrifice story too. But why? Because human sacrifices to God was in style for a long time. These were barbarians after all. They believed in a primitive tribal blood thirsty god hungry for souls. The story concludes with an angel showing up just in the nick of time to stop Abraham. Now nice.
The Christians and Muslims buy into this primitive charade without asking the question why God is a psychopath. They have too much fear as well as ignorance. Could it be that these delusional followers are being conditioned to be psychopaths themselves? Doesn't it take a psychopath to come up with extraordinary excuses to make attempted murder sound like a holy event? Why Abraham would be willing to murder his own son? The nutters think this is a good thing. Doesn't this set the stage for Christians later on where their savior is also sacrificed? The mindset is clear. Clearly deranged.
So are the Jews delusional? Were they psychopaths when they wrote this stuff or were they just playing a big joke? Did someone thousands of years ago come up with the greatest practical joke ever played on mankind? This is something worth thinking about.
Delusions between the Christians, Muslims and Jews compete with one another. The Jews believe Christians are delusional because Jesus never fulfilled prophesy. The Muslims accuse the Jews of corrupting scriptures yet the Muslims plagiarized them anyway. They copied from both the Torah and the New Testament to create their own fantasy of a prophet on a flying horse. Christians condemn both Muslims and Jews for not believing their delusion. Its a cacophony of concocted brews where each believe their delusions are reality. They will all meet on the Temple Mount to bang their heads together.
The Jews beleive Moses parted a whole sea yet Moses couldn't even lead his people home for 40 years. They walked in circles for 40 years under a hot sun. If only Moses walked in a stright line. He would have led his people home within a week or two. As you can see its one big giant jumbled delusional mess of myths and fairytales but leave it up to Christians to be the ones who have the most hallucinations. These follow the tradition of psilocybin inspired Revelations and the hallucinations of Paul on the road to Damascus.
So why did the Jews copy Sumerian and Egyptian myth? The creation and flood stories are from Sumerian myth and the Ten Commandments are from the 42 Negative confession from Egypt. Why? Simply because myths get recreated over and over just like a new model car comes out every year. The Jesus myth is copied from Horus, Attis, Mithras, Dionysus and others. Justin Martyr even makes excuses. He says if you can believe in Jupiter then you can believe in Jesus. He is right. If you can believe pigs can fly you can also believe asses can talk. What we find in religion, asses do the most talking.
On a darker note. What were the Jews thinking when they wrote the Babylonian Talmud? What nasty drug induced lunacy were they engaging in when they wrote this book containing scribbles permitted pedophilia? They really liked them young. Then again, in the Christian myth, how old was Mary when she got pregnant? After all, Christianity is a spinoff of Judaism. Read Yebamoth 60b, Sanhedrin 55a,69b,76b, Kethuboth 11a,b for examples.
So is this a 5000 year old practical joke or not? Do we hear anyone laughing?

Seems that while you were gone, you came to an awakening about the Abrahamic religions and the dogma they teach. 
I guess there is hope for this world after all.
If you were able to turn it around ..... anyone could!

Abraham is from Ur which is one of 12 cities. Each city had their god and Ur's god was NANNA. The Semites, named NANNA as SIN. The transcendental god is called ANU, the skygod. The god of the firmament is ENLIL. There are a bunch of other gods in the mix.
The God of Abraham is a composite of these gods. An all in one god where all the gods are rolled up into one. Its kind of like going to the mall to go shopping.

It must be understood when their belief system is shown to be an evolution of myths it disturbs them. It would be like finding out your parents adopted you or for some that they have a terminal disease rather than adjusting to the truth.
For some, when their belief system falls apart must be like getting a limb amputated when it should a freeing and happy experience instead. This is truly a born again experience

It is surprising that self professed "educated" men, in this case, one stating he has a PhD unabling himself to comprehend rational thinking and logical thought processes in discerning the beliefs in mythical gods. You would think in this day and age intelligent people would give up age old beliefs that were used to frighten and control the parts of societies they feared most.

This is an excellent point but you do remember that 911 hijackers were also educated. What we see there is a switch that flips where another mind takes over in a similar way one watches a movie, gets involved in the plot and even becomes emotionally involved in the story. That only shows how dangerous dogma affects the mind. This is the same thing we see in the psychopath. Psychopaths can be charming and educated like Ted Bundy or the highly educated Unibomber Ted Kaczynsk. Religion serves to make ordinary people insane.

Vinny, until they come to know the Lord, or God, they can never understand. We know Him have heard his voice, know His love and care. We have a personal relationship with the Lord. When you have that ANY LOGICAL, intelligent person, could never doubt His reality. So, let them remained deceived and deluded.
Maybe hammer and sail and knots will be running around from demon gods in hell one day who count your good and bad with black or white stones. If they choose to be judged by a demon, that is their problem. Maybe they will become hungry ghosts, lol, ghosts that are hungry all the time but have skinny necks and can't get any food to go down those necks.
I would rather they find the Lord, but then, that is their choice.
