In reviewing the posts of the last few weeks, I have come to the conclusion that the R&S Forum requires a name change to truly reflect the nonsense being posted.
Can anyone in their right mind consider the topics to fall into the category of "Religion" or "Spirituality"? The topics more closely reflect the insane imaginations of mental inmates residing in the Bellevue Asylum of New York State.
So if you agree with me, what new name would you suggest for the Religion & Spiritual Forum?

My old thread Petition to separate Religion & Spirituality didn't come up with any solutions. Any solution would require lots of software changes made to the site.
I think it would help if limits were made to C&Ping large amounts of text to threads. No flooding allowed.
Limit posts to every minute or every 5 minutes.
Limit two consecutive posts in a row.
Limit a maximum number of posts per 24/hours.

Just took a break while the escapees took over the R&S Forum.
Amazing how the voice of the MD christians is now controled by a lunatic and his christian counselor. Just shows how sheeple will follow any persistent charismatic nutcase that fuels their delusions.
The posts being made recently in my opinion don't even deserve to be answered or debated. By doing so all you are doing is giving the post enough credibility worthy of a response.
What forum category would this new dogma fall under? ..... Jokes and Humor? ,,,,, Sex Talk? ..... Hocus Pocus?

It's funny you should say that, Sail. A similar situation is going on at a few other sites.
Not long ago, Trish had sent me an email about how there was a rumor going around that there was a group of fundies prparing for an internet preaching fest.
I'm beginning to think this is it.

I would say that the Glorious Leader actually belongs in a Fundy Farm... that would also be the lowest common denominator. 
Maybe we should ask to have all the relevant posts transferred to the Religious Rant thread?

It sounds to me like some of you don't want to discuss religion or spirituality at all. You just LOVE to attack people.
EVERYONE has a legal and moral right to practice the religion of their choice. What gives YOU the right to judge and critisize them, unless they are harming someone else?
Maybe they should re-name the thread religion, spirituality and how to attack the people who practice them.

Since when does any belief or any idea deserve respect for no good reason? How do we accept good ideas and reject the bad without judging them and criticizing them? Why should religious beliefs have a special exemption from scrutiny simply because its religious? Thats a pretty stupid form of discrimination thats a throw back from a time when any criticism was met with torture and death. That still happens in some countries today but not here.

its all conceptual and what we cling too. Sometimes I think the religious and the spiritual set the same traps for themselves but I guess "spiritual" has a demeanor of letting go of the "crap."

Your response has nothing to do with what I posted.
It is ok to accept or reject idea or beliefs.
It is NOT ok to attack the person and call them stupid, ignorant, delusional or whatever. That goes on here all the time and I believe that is wrong.
