Ok, I have seen people here saying how there are so many Atheists here.
Could the Atheists please stand up and be counted.
Because as far as I know there was only one true Atheist, and he hasn't posted in over a year.
I think this should be defined as what is an Atheist and what isn't.

Cause I have been on this forum since it first opened. Only one true Atheist came and talked with us. I really enjoyed that.

Anyway you ask a good question because some claim to be atheist but dont claim that in there profile.
The only one that I know of that does is goose.Ive often wondered why others didnt...maybe they will tell us on this thread.

Possibly they don't feel what they do or don't believe religiously is an important enough part of what makes em tick to say...
Or maybe none of the one word definitions fit, and since some other viewpoint isn't given as an option, they say nothing...

Possibly they don't feel what they do or don't believe religiously is an important enough part of what makes em tick to say... Thats certainly possible but if that were the case,why does participating in a forum discussing religion suddenly become important?

I've made it clear numerous times that I'm an Atheist. I even mentioned it in my profile a while back. But because of the context of the comment, I deleted it when it became irrelevant.
But if you can read, you can read the profile and know where I stand.

I am neither .. altho I have been called a hell destined heathen and pagan I am neither of them either ... I am me and I believe that MANY different messengers were sent to us... and that we should try to understand what they were sent to teach us .. ALL of them ... not sure what category that drops me into tho .. any ideas??

I'm like kjac, I'm agnostic/athiest.I've stated my atheistic beliefs on a number of threads. There's a part of me that wants to believe in god but, not the god I read about in the so called holy books.

Christians were accused of being Atheists in ancient Rome because they didn't consider the emperor as a god. The fact is, all Christians are atheists for all 3000 gods except the three they worship. The trinity is a man, a sky god and a pigeon.

First of all, I should have said belief instead of Christian.
Second of all, I have seen some comments about lots of Atheists on here,,and wondered where they were????
Thank you Kjac. I thought you truly were an Athteist.
Ok, and on that, I do care very much for Kjac. He has made me see reason quite a bit on here. So, does that make me bad???
