THIS is a site that claims to be dedicated to "setting fundies free" of their dogma.
Have fun with it.

I read and reread almost every article the man wrote on this website. He really helped me get rid of a lot of junk that was clouding up my thinking. He hasn't written anything new in a few years, but everything he's written is worth reading. I actually posted one of his articles a few months ago and didn't get much response from it.

My E=Mc2 article came from there. Very enlightening stuff, nothing new, but well presented I thought.

Don't expect anyone who lives a life devoid of intellect to read anything from any website. I did recently ask one fellow what non-fiction books he read in 2009 and he read nothing.
Also, calling people who don't believe in any of the 3000 gods as unbelievers is wrong. It is they who are unbelievers when you really think about it. They believe in fairytales but don't believe in what's real. So who really are the unbelievers?
People who require evidence, reason or proof to believe things as facts still may believe things that are speculation. They just know the difference.

Don't expect anyone who lives a life devoid of intellect to read anything from any website. Indeed. We have folks on here who are even afraid to open up such a site. Maybe they believe that demons are living somewhere around the site and are ready to jump out of their computers if they even type the url.

I must take issue with your comment, Thor, in that I'm not one who is "afraid" to open a web site that you might present in this regard; I'm simply not interested, would be the better way of phrasing this.
I have little enough spare time as it is right now and that spare time is going to be spent reviewing and studying what benefits me, that I enjoy. I don't believe that anti-religious propaganda is going to benefit me and thus I avoid it probably much like you avoid deeply insightful daily devotionals that Christians meditate on. Savvy?

When are non-believers going to realize that religions were and are made by man and are not the open door to eternal life...

When are non-believers going to realize that religions were and are made by man and are not the open door to eternal life... When are delusionals going to tell the difference between religion (which is man made) and their own fantasies (which also are man and woman made) about the supernatural?

Indeed. We have folks on here who are even afraid to open up such a site And we have haters on here that are afraid to let everyone find their own path in life. They are so busy cutting down others, trying to be the school yard bullies that they cant stop and look for the good of others and build on that

I don't believe that anti-religious propaganda is going to benefit me and thus I avoid it probably much like you avoid deeply insightful daily devotionals that Christians meditate on. Fair enough, but I don't recall anything you've written about such, at least not about atheistic sites. You've commented on other things you've seen online that you felt were demonically inspired and therefore wouldn't look at them or even post a link.
I knew some Christian folks some years back that went to see the movie "Event Horizon". They were so disturbed by it and felt it to be demonically inspired and had prayer after they got out of the movie to "cleanse" their senses, or so they said.
Whatever.

What I don't get is this "us" vs "them" that continually goes on here. It was different when Hunt and Bev were here for they were loonietunes to the extreme.
But now we actually have some rational folks here. We can learn from anyone who can have a half way open mind and I think most of the Christians posting now have that.
Many paths to one "destination". If we can accept what works for one is not another's cup of tea, then we can get along and actually learn what each of us "believes".

Prime example Sad part is he is probaly a nice guy in person but feels the need to be a bully in the forums Well, I think Iam is a hoot and I love his new signs. You're probably a nice guy yourself in person, Paul, even though we disagree. I just want you christians to be able to defend your defenseless faith. God, is that too much to ask?

And just Why should we have to defend it to anyone If I may quote Yasha....Where ever you go, there you are and terms like the technique of techniques is just anothers persons opinion So where you go is fine for you, and where we go is fine for us

I'm going out on a limb here, but why should anyone have to "defend" their faith in a general discussion?
When you have those who start stipping hell fire, damnation, then I think they'd better be able to back it up, but in everyday life, no one should have to "defend" themsleves over what they believe.
There are some that need the structure of Christianity....our friend UAB comes to mind on that. there are others that do better with a different type of path that is less restrictive. it is all up to the individual on what works in helping them to be the very best person they can be.
Several of you weren't here when Hunt and Bev graced our forums, but those we two that needed a good awakening for they were extremists to the max.
It's different now and it can be better now.
Edited to add:
GMTA, Mr Paul.
