A Goddess... No wonder they made her go away... otherwise she would have wanted to interfere in everything.  "Those carrots are the wrong colour... and I like blue tomatoes better... and there's no beef on those cows. Well, from what i understand, She appears in ancient Judean texts and is mentioned multiple times in the Bible.
Like I said, I'm still looking.
Quadrophenity..that's funny.
Maybe God got rid of her because he had to not only hear the people of the Earth whining and complaining, Asherah was in the backgroung bitching and moaning....
Do you think Jesus actually came to earth because he was avoiding cleaning his room?

If she was hanging around while he was painting the stars he might have got off his ladder to put her straight lol...
Well only in cake mix Becks... Some years back I found that by adding cake colouring to pancakes... blue, yellow, orange and green... you got to keep all the pancakes to yerself... No amount of seasoning would entice anyone to eat one... lol... well, apart from children's parties... They scoffed the lot and asked for more... but they were also hitting each other over the head with them lol...
And bees should be red, with warning triangles... I can't see yellow bees on daffodils... Or make the daffodils pink...

Thanks for the link, Angel. I'll check it out. I've been doing a bit of online research, but I still prefer books. Seems it's easier to find information that's a bit less "skewed"

Since you prefer books, possibly check out at local library for "Did God Have A Wife?"...written by William G. Denver; a Syro-Palestinian archaeologist and biblical scholar.
The book is "hard cover" and on sale at Amazon as well...
