Hey folks and friends!!!
I am currently researching all sorts of different modalities of healing, and spiritual topics, and was wondering if anyone else would be interested in a thread in this vein?
If so, leave me a note listing the topic that interests you, and we will explore the power of the Universe together. Anyone who joins this thread will be joining my "Web of Light". To experience and share the Inner Light is my fondest wish. I look forward to exploring with you, and wish you peace.

I guess this could be a good representation.......of a Yin and Yang thing......We have the Web of Light and representation of the Dark Side (not me) in the same topic threads....
I am sure when this was started.......to experience "inner light" and "peace" that might have not been the intent to encourage the dark side.........but I guess it is out there......and we all have to deal with it.
Personally, I am interested in the different modalities of healing and going from there........Namaste!

Such as? I'm interested in resonance therapy. Is that what you're talking about - or are you, as Mary suggested, into the more spiritual aspects of aligning, opening and closing the chakras, and the flow of chi (resonance therapy works with this too)?
Without darkness, there is no light - without the exhale, there can be no inhale.

Thank you, 'lecriveuse'.....You have a lot to put into this conversation, don't you? Welcome, Hon!
'Pete', .....what can I say? I expected you. What is the dark side to you? To me, it is emptiness, a lost wandering...
but you are correct, without dark/ there could be no light. Resonance Therapy, huh? Like if you place two tuning forks across from each other, and start one vibrating the other will begin to vibrate also? Oh, and at the same frequency? To what frequency do the people around you resonate? Does it bring you peace? Welcome!
'Mary'....chakras, the seven energy engines, as I like to think of them. Energy flows clockwise through the body, and each chakra focuses on a different area of the body. If even just one becomes blocked, our energy field, or aura begins to reflect the disruption, and becomes distorted. Which of your chakras are blocked? Welcome, girl!
'Sissycat'...the format I am using to respond to each of these members is partly to explain 'what is going on here'....does it help at all? Do you feel at peace when you garden, or go fishing? Well, I don't know about you, but I seek out that feeling of peace, every now and then, because it helps me to feel balanced. I started this thread in hopes that we can help each other to find that peace and balance. Welcome.
'Red69'...I had hoped that you might find your way here. Glad you came! Time...it will catch on, right???
Personally, I like to listen to the animals, they each have their own purpose, and really have quite a lot to say, for those who pay attention. I would also like to find out as much as I can about Reiki, and Quantum Touch. Music, massage, aroma and colour therapy all have their uses also. The list is long....
Does anyone know anything about Quantum Touch?

I agree with the visualizations...I have seen it work.
I'm a big believer in intution also...might not always pay attention to it but it has been proven right many times. Just wish it would give me the dang power ball numbers!
So Empath....discuss away and I'll try to keep up with ya.
And...on a lighter note may I ad the following quote:
Duct tape is like the force...it has a light and dark side and it hold the universe together.
Peace

Actually, I'm very comfortable talking about this stuff. Music and color therapy are both part of resonance therapy and I'm very familiar with them both.

Resonance is vibration - vibrational therapy is tapping in to the wavelengths produced by different phenomenon such as sound, light, color and even magnetism (my field). In music, there are basically two types of resonance. A tone, which is a musical note, and a harmonic, which is two or more notes played together. When two notes are played together, a third resonance is formed between the two notes - a "beat" resonance. The same can be applied to magnetic resonance.
The principles begin at the atomic level. From the standpoint of quantum mechanics, the electron, while shifting positions in set patterns relative to an atomic nucleus, generates a specific energy emission, or more specifically, a magnetic resonance. This magnetic resonance pattern emitted by the body’s tissues and physiological structures has a unique personal signature and is a product of the individual atomic, molecular, and cellular movement that make up that tissue, organ or the physiological structure under study. In plain English, this means, every organ and tissue (and chakra) in the body has a frequency associated with it - a musical note it responds to, or a color that it associates with (again, like the chakras - root chakra is associated with red, and so on)
From the perspective of biophysics, the initial step of pain development occurring from damaged or diseased tissue is considered to be a “disorder” of the magnetic resonance of a normal atom. This disorder predisposes biochemical alterations.
When this disorder of magnetic resonance occurs, the magnetic resonance of regular normal electrons at the atomic level exhibit a change or phase shift which breaks and disturbs the once orderly communication pathway that is usually transmitted from atom to molecule, molecule to cell, cell to tissue and tissue to organ. Again, in plain English, a "change of phase" is like someone in a choir that is singing out of tune.
The challenge of any resonance therapy is to surround (bombard) the out-of-phase tissue or organ with resonance that is in-phase. For our choir boy, this would mean surrounding him with strong singers that sing in tune - in order to get him to sing in tune. This bombardment is intended to "tune" the body by bringing the tissues and organs and molecules and atoms into phase.
This can be done in a number of ways. Looking at the chakras, again, we normally associate the base or root chakra with the musical note C. If you've ever looked inside a piano, you will notice that when you play the note middle-C, all the C strings will vibrate sympathetically. When we look at the electro-magnetic spectrum, we can see a relationship between sound wavelengths and light/color wavelengths. So really, whether one chooses color therapy or sound therapy or magnetic therapy, it is all basically vibrational therapy. Because of this relationship - we can produce the note middle-C, and have an affect on DNA molecules that resonate 42 octaves ABOVE middle-C. The seven notes in the scale represent the 7 major chakras (there are actually 13 chakras and those are repesented by the chromatic scale).
Anyway, that's the theory behind resonance therapy. There's way more to it than that but I've already written more than anyone will read.

Mary, I'm multi-faceted. That's a good thing.
One of the things I work with, BTW, is gemstones for healing. The theory there is that there is a relationship between the geometry of the facets - and this geometry establishes a resonance (like a prism breaks up the colors of the light spectrum). Designing gemstones in specific shapes with precise angles based on numerology and sacred geometry is something I have done for many years. The gemstones I have designed have been used in healing and even implanted inside people's teeth.

It's fascinating regardless if one believes or not. Thank you for your explanation Pete, I liked the comparison you made with the music notes. Very well said.

One more thing.....
Remember: The energy you put out, whether positive or negative, will have a ripple effect, and what you put out, will eventually come back.
Mailorderannie: just goes to show you how much I gamble, eh? (gotta say that I'm Canadian, eh?)

I too, am Reiki The Reiki opened me up but only so far so I struggle with staying open. Lots of things to know...such as, I want to know more about Pete's resonance studies.
A series of life events are helping to change me. Still on that quest for more answers.
I have read a little of Carolyn Myss(sp) quite an empath. So swirl away.....and I too shall try to keep up.

Beachnut...do you practice Reiki or go to a practioner? I had it done once during a bad experience after a meditation class..long story, but found the process fascinating.
BTW...do any of you listen to HayHouseRadio.com? Carolyne Myss has a show as well as the top writer's in Hay House's stable. Something interesting to tune into during a boring day.
Oh, and forgot to answer the question...YES, I think the planet is going through a period of adjusment right now...tsunamis, hurricanes, earth quakes, global warming....all proof the earth is groaning.

Thanks for the comment Mail Order. I am a practitioner......no shingle hanging out just if someone writes or calls and needs some energy just as long as I have their permission I can send it......need to do it more often for myself in my transition as of late. Funny (that's what we say when synchronicity takes place) you should mention Hay House.....I sent someone there yesterday and I am going out in a bit to get an MP3 player to download some stuff from Hay House on podcast so I can have an alternative to plain radio even though I love the knowlege that the John Tesh radio show offers.........haha
Metaphysics.....love Chopra and the gang.
I feel so bad for not using what I have at my disposal like the Reiki.

Oh Pete, now you got my attention with the gemstones. You create gemstones???? Would love to hear about that, although I like "chunks of stone" better than a faceted amethyst.
I work with someone who is "sensitive" and comes up with ideas about which stones and which shapes belong together. So, if you wanted something beneficial to you, this sensitive person would "read" you (your aura) and put a combination of stones together using different cuts, sizes, shapes and materials. You could, then, wear these gems on your person, (he has them made into rings an jewelry) or put them in a vial and sleep with them under your pillow.
I agree with you, however, that chunks of stone can have tremendous energy on their own.

Question: If humans also resonate, which all energy does, then how does the aural energy (vibration) correlate to musical vibration (energy)? Would it not follow that individuals practising Quantum Touch Therapy must make their energy resonate at the same frequency as certain musical notes?
(does this make sense?)
Yes. In resonance, if you can think of it as a wave pattern, an amplification occurs when two wave lengths match or align. Multiples of the wave length also create an amplification. So imagine a wave with peaks and valleys - and a second wave with a different wave length but one that happens to exactly coincide with many of the first wave's peaks and valleys. This is what happens, for example when two notes are an octave apart. People who perform quantum touch therapy are coaxing the patient's body resonance into tune with itself, with the planet and with the cosmos.

Pete tell the truth you have a Merlin outfit don't you....with the hat and robe......this is fascinating. How does one get started simplistically to begin the journey into resonance research? The first step for the Forest Gumps of resonance.
